TMZ:
She's blazing at the box office -- and "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart was blazing on her front steps in L.A. a few days ago as well.

I've seen a couple of interviews with her.
I hope she doesn't have long-term showbiz plans, because she comes off as thinking that she's too cool for the room, and a bit twitchy.
The phone calls will stop in a year or so, and by the end of Obama's first term, her name will be showing up on those "Where Are They Now?" lists.
ChiGuy luvs him some schadenfreude.
Twilight alone will be around for the next 5 years and b4 Twilight even existed critics were already praising her as a future star after "into the Wild" came out. So I say she will be around for a long time.
Good for her!
It's not a big deal. I'd do it with her, and I'm normally a bit too much of a square to partake in such things. Mind you, I am just easily coerced by young women. :p
Smoking pot should be no deal whatsoever.
For an enlightened country, we sure are backward when it comes to personal freedoms.
She deserves the death penalty!
She should be sentenced to make prison movies.
Wow, a young actress doing something really stupid. Who woulda thunk it?
Hey, I'm starring in a new popular film...i think I'll go sit on my front porch and blatantly smoke some weed.
What are the odds that papparazzi might be around? Pffft.
Certainly no shortage of dimwits in Hollywood.
pass the joint around honey.....hope my kids dont read my post
So freaking what I rather have everyone on the planet smoking pot then drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. I smoke pot everyday. It is not only a great way to relax but it is a powerfully strong medicine and it's use should not be looked down on. Actually good for her for being herself.
Not that I give a flying fahootch about this clueless young woman or her movie, but I bet there are more folks harmlessly smoking pot these days than there are people willing to admit they're Republicans -- let's free all those pointlessly imprisoned stoners and jail all the criminal GOP lackeys instead.
Now *that's* change we can believe in!
The people in jail for pot, typically have enough on them to be considered for intent to distribute. In nearly every state, if you keep your stash below a certain level, you merely get a citation, much like a traffic ticket.
How hard is it to follow the law, or at least keep your amount of drugs within the legal limit to stay out of jail. Go cry a river somewhere else.
You know nothing about pot laws. In Nevada you can do felony time for a single seed.
Imo pot dealers are model citizens compared to those who sell booze, and unless they're selling to children they don't deserve jail time -- and here in PA the liquor stores are state-run! Legalize it, label it for potency, and tax it -- that will take the huge profit margins (and therefore the hoodlums) out of the trade and people will know what they're buying like they do at medical marijuana co-ops.
Anti-marijuana laws are based on racial and ethnic prejudice in the first place -- in the U.S., pot was originally associated with Mexican immigrants and black folks, while booze was the drug of choice for whites and sold by big business interests with political connections who didn't want any grass roots (pun intended) competition. Including pot in the current absurdly expensive and utterly failed "War On Drugs" is just a stink-dumb vestige of the ignorant and obsolete past -- and nobody should forfeit their freedom for using or even selling such a relatively benign (inhaling any kind of smoke has health risks and the available smokeless delivery systems are awkward to use) substance to adults.
The bottom line is that you can minimize your personal risk of incarceration by knowing and following the extant laws in your state, but remember that somebody is risking jail getting you your little stash, and that the laws imposing that risk are based on ignorance, greed, and political corruption.
So what. If she was drinking a beer on her front porch, this wouldn't even be a story. I am so sick of the double standard between pot and alcohol.
Just remember, pot heads don't come home and beat their wives and kids. Drunks do.
i agree, the double standard between alcohol and pretty much any other drug is ridiculous. alcohol is the most socially acceptable, ENCOURAGED drug out there - it's glamorized, it's popular, it's ridiculously accessible - and it's the only drug that you can die from it's withdrawal effects. NOT EVEN HEROIN DOES THAT! how many people die as a result of drunk drivers each year? how many people are abused by alcoholic relatives or loves ones? people, we really need to reassess the stigmas on certain drugs in this country.
