George Bush

New York Times:

The Labor Department is racing to complete a new rule, strenuously opposed by President-elect Barack Obama, that would make it much harder for the government to regulate toxic substances and hazardous chemicals to which workers are exposed on the job.

The rule, which has strong support from business groups, says that in assessing the risk from a particular substance, federal agencies should gather and analyze "industry-by-industry evidence" of employees' exposure to it during their working lives. The proposal would, in many cases, add a step to the lengthy process of developing standards to protect workers' health.

He's addicted to disaster. There ought to be a support group for him and his cronies to help them deal with the withdrawal symptoms they'll have once they're out.

Please don't slander pond scum. It never lied to mislead America into a needless war, flouted the Constitution or wrecked the economy.

I didn't think it possible but he has made me hate and despise him even more. Will this nightmare never be over?

I suppose that Obama could make rules on 1/20 to rescind the rules Dubya made, you know, with some executive orders or something.

That's it in a nutshell. This one sentence captures the spirit and essence of what has been revealed to be a highly toxic administration pursuing highly toxic policies leading to highly toxic outcomes. Hence, George W. Bush's legacy is indeed Toxic Waste.

The worst thing about Bush is that he cloaks himself in Christianity to perpetrate his very un-Christian acts. I don't understand how he can read the Bible and think what he's done as President can be justified.

I don't know how he sleeps at night. I really don't.

His favorite sleeping aid comes in a bottle call Jack Daniels.....

ha ha your first mistake was to think alfred e bush can read.if the bible comes in comic book form with pictures then maybe he read that version.

However much Bush may claim to be a Christian, the reality is that he serves Mammon, and not God.

"Not everyone who says Lord, Lord to me shall enter the Kingdom of God."

What does one expect from this so-called Christian and other Christo-Fascists who have absolutely no understanding of the real Jesus of Nazareth. People like Bush and his minions including Pat Robertson, Jim Dobson of Focus on the Family, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council and many others are modern day Pharisees who have absolutely no Idea who the real Jesus is.

Well put. Reminds me of my favorite-ever t-shirt from way back in the day; a big tie-dyed Grateful Dead-looking thing that had Christ on the front and the words 'Jesus Save Me...' across the top and '...From Your Followers' across the bottom of the design. Never more true than now.
