Snow And Wind Cancel 50 O'Hare Flights

Snowfall and blustery winds have caused the cancellation of more than 50 flights Monday morning at O'Hare International Airport.

Delays at O'Hare are averaging about 30 minutes and more than 50 flights have been canceled due to wind and low visibility as of 10:45 a.m., according to Department of Aviation spokesman Gregg Cunningham.

There were no cancellations reported at Midway International Airport Monday morning, although flights were averaging between 30 and 60-minute delays due to the de-icing of aircrafts, Cunningham said.
