Weather Watch: Snow Lessening, Salt Trucks Out
In the end, the season's first snow storm wasn't really all that bad.
"Welcome to winter in Chicago--it's here," said Chicago Streets and Sanitation spokesman Matt Smith at a morning briefing recounting the night's snow-fighting activities.
In addition, more than 100 unfortunate city residents woke up this morning to find their cars gone--towed from their street parking spots as part of the city's overnight winter storm parking ban.
