Brad Pitt sat down with Ann Curry to talk about his Make It Right foundation in New Orleans, a year after its launch. Read more about his Make It Right work and success here. He also talked about his kids and potential wedding plans with partner Angelina Jolie.

"If we feel it's important to our kids, we would," he said of marriage, adding of his six kids, "I'm really proud of this family. I look at my sons and daughters. ... I feel rich being around them. Each one offers so much to the mix."

He joked, "Surprisingly though, six kids is not as easy as you would think!"

But he hesitated to say too much about the family. "I just walk away feeling bad about it when I do... I just want to keep it close to the chest."

As for adoption, and those potential adoptive parents who worry about loving a new addition the same as a biological child, Pitt said, "It's a good question. I had the same question. Just, it's automatic. It is automatic.

Brad Pitt is an awesome person. I met him in New Orleans working on Interview with a Vampire.......he was very nice and I am happy for all of his success. People like him are a credit to the human race.

I don't know what it is, but I've lost my love for Brad Pitt. For some reason, I don't buy his: I'm so in love with Angie. I personally feel, that he feels like crap. I think his conscience is getting the best of him. Why didn't he take his family and girlfriend to Chicago. I'm just curious. Well, I do appreciate all the good thing he does for the people of New Orleans, but he should be ashamed of the way you treated Jennifer. Oh, and his kids are all very cute.

Bull hockey. Jennifer was and still IS a whiney putz.

And you know him personally so well that you can tell he feels like crap?

Nice projecting.

I'll take him at his word since, well, he knows HIM better than YOU do.

I think Brad is the bestest ever, as for Angelina not going to Chicago I think that was all her, she didn't want to be associated as having supported any president, which I think is a mistake on her part concerning Brad not to share in such a pivotal moment with your signifcant other over selfish and insecure reasons is just being to self absorbed. I don't think Brad is in love with Angelina either but I do think he loves those kids and he's made his bed so to speak and he's going to lye in it for the time being. I just really hope he doesn't adopt anymore kids they need to concentrate on the ones they have now.

Is it just me or is Ann Curry the most arse kissy interviewer out there? She even kisses up to her co-hosts. She is so cloying that NBC should have a disclaimer and warning posted for hyperglycemics before she comes on air.

I agree. She always kisses up to her subjects. Female version of Larry King.

Are we really interested that much in Brad Pitt? Puhleese. Enough of this actor and his shennigans with his paramour.
He lost my respect the minute he left Jennifer Anniston and took up with Angelena Jolie.
They prefer to live anywhere els in the world except for the country they were born in and made them famous.

Brad Pitt has done more for New Orleans than anyone. Jennifer Anniston is all about Jennifer Anniston, look how she goes from one guy to the next, and makes one bad movie after another.

"Brad Pitt has done more for New Orleans than anyone..."

Bet you Andrew Jackson and LaFitte would take exception to that statement.

I'm just gonna throw this one out there and hope for the best: Am I the only viewer who could not stop thinking as I watched this interview: "I wonder if Ann has gotten over that awful case of diarrhea she picked up on her recent treck up Mount Kilamanjaro? Oh, gosh. Poor Ann. Nothing could possibly be worse than battling intestinal cramping while interviewing a world-famous movie star in the middle of a public street. . . . I take that back. That moustache is worse.... I hope they had a Porta-a-Pottie waiting for her just off camera.... Now, where did I put that remote?..."

You're right. Poor Ann!

Good lord. I am a gay man living in Boys Town, and I can't recall the last time I saw such a wanton abuse of Miss Clairol (or of a moustache for that matter). Let the gray show, fellas! I'm talking to you, every Hollywood actor over the age of 35. Your mononchromatic hair looks FAKE! Like Ken Doll. Or GI Joe.

When he drops trou, does he look like he's wearing a Santa beard for a Merkin? Most likely not. If I know HomeWreck-a-lina (and I do, very well) she probably insists that he dye the carpet to match the drapes.

Your post was an awesome parody of a bitchy gay man - ha HA! And the obviously-lying personal connection to Ms. Jolie fits right in with the whole satirical delusion. Awesome.

Right?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:53 PM on 12/02/2008

Hysterical. Monochrome! But guys, if you're gonna dye, get it done in a salon. The brassiness you get with the home kits is really giving you away. As for moustaches, they work on less than one percent of the male population. Not to mention those other silly tufts of self expression. Shave!

I believe I read somewhere that 83% of the body's stench leaves through the head.. perhaps that is why Pitt is wearing that hat so much - - it is easier than bathing.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:11 PM on 12/02/2008

That hat is lined with tin foil.

*laughing* Perhaps but then again... I have this visual of Jolie putting a cute little S&M "token" on his head so he always remembers to whom he belongs

That is exactly why he wears those stupid pork pie hats. He tries to conver up the fact that he is not a proponent of regular hair washings. Thank goodness there is no such thing as smellevision.

I guess Angelina is entranced by bad hygiene.

...or, maybe the man likes hats.

Is that a possibility? Have you gotten so close to him you could smell his "stench"??

He's inclined to talk about his kids like most loving parents. On Oprah's show recently he had a fun time (and so did his audience) talking about the kids and the silly things they do. I'd bet that didn't sit too well with Angelina, as she is sensitive about anything that might reflect "badly" on her clan. That would explain his reticence in this particular interview and the holding things "close to the chest" remark - but, he REALLY does like to talk openly about the children.

His comment also about 6 kids not being easy is also telling.......he's telling Angelina 6 is enough!
She should listen. Maybe that's why he's not talking marriage. Six, seven, eight kids -- that's scary even for a rich man.

I commend his hope and optimism for his NO project. At least he's doing something.....however,
I've heard former residents criticize the $150K pricetag which people who lost much in Katrina and maybe were struggling before Katrina can't come up with. I've also heard that some are still having to pay mortgages on homes that were destroyed.

I suspect Curry is actually their 7th child

Good (and funny) point. There is certainly a Greek tragedy lurking within that group.

I see Brad and Angie as good examples of the best actors can be to bring both attention and money to NO after our gov has failed the area and for the set up of the organzation for kids worldwide as ambassador Angie has put a face on what is wrong when we do not invest in the children. We have a lot to thank these people who instead of just living the high life invest money they make off of their craft in people. Those who are negative and hate filled about these two should look at yourselves and see when you did something for anyone but yourself then talk. At least look at the world and see what you can do instead of talk/write crap.

I just love this couple. I really don't know why? I just do. Angie should become a VP nomination in 2012. Brad should become a cabinet member. J/K

Oh sweet jeeebus I hate that disgusting 70's porn mustache! This guy has gone so insane in the past few years. He thinks he can do no wrong....well the mustache is wrong Brad. DAMN WRONG!

I disagree, the moustache is so adorable. He looks like Clark Gable. And he's just as fine of an actor as Gable too.

Leatherbunny, you seem really sweet and sincere so I hate disagreeing with you. I want to tell you this though, go rent Gone with the Wind and then tell me if you think that Brad Pitt still reminds you of Clark Gable.

First thing I thought when I saw the moustache and the scarf and the feathery hair was: Middle Aged Gay Man. Hey, that's what I thought. It's a well-to -do, kinda mainstream, gay white male look, if ya ask me. Cute.

Not Clark Gable. Errol Flynn, maybe. But more like Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., the first Mr. Joan Crawford. Which immediately calls to mind "Mommy Dearest," which brings us back to Angelina, a master at the child-as-prop school of publicity.

Naw, he looks like that guy from Germany, you know, Hitler... that's why I cringe every time I see him. Shave it Angie.

I'm with you Concerned, I am not a fan of the pornstache either. That coupled with the pork pie hats Pitt normally wears, leads me to want to help out the poor guy.

I want to become Brad Pitt's stylist. I'm used to picking out clothes for my dad and my brother, so I think I could assist Brad. First off, his hair needs a good trim, and if he must wear that mustache for a movie role, it needs to be trimmed, too. He needs to revisit good hygiene. I can't help in that area, can only encourage. Then he needs to quit with the hats and scarves, and dress more conservatively. I would be happy to take him shopping and pick out some new clothes for him.
