Katie Couric Debuts New, Shorter Haircut On "CBS Evening News"

"CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric debuted a new, shorter haircut Monday night — and before you even start wondering whether it's sexist to report on Couric's hair, read this: our coverage of Chris Matthews' hair from earlier this year.

It makes her look professional. Good move. One should not be staring at hair. Some of the CNN anchors look like Breck commercials! Her Palin interview reminded people that she can be a good journalist, and it's great to see her go in a more serious direction.

Hey, my father cut Tom Brokaws hair back when he was in L.A. and it was not hippy style. Mr. Brokaw wanted his hair left long in the back! Funny to remember actually seeing him in my Dad's chair having his hair done as he prepped for the nightly newscast.

I wonder what the ecological deficit is in order to keep this person's appearance level. People jumped all over Palin for her $150K clothes and beautification allowance and yet everyone turns a blind eye to this person.

One only needs to look at her YouTube clips to determine she has little skill in investigating, evaluating or conveying any information (all of which is coordinated and spun out of the concentration of the allied corporate media).

The hair cut is good; now if someone would just remove all the black and white clothing from her wardrobe and replace it with browns and grays, she would look terrific.

I like Katie's new look. I like her any way she wants to wear her hair. I will alway have a special place in my heart for her for the Palin interviews she did. I think that had a lot to do with the McCain/Palin loss. If people weren't convinced that she was an airhead before those interviews, little doubt was left after them LOL! Go Katie!
