Katie Couric Debuts New, Shorter Haircut On "CBS Evening News"

"CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric debuted a new, shorter haircut Monday night — and before you even start wondering whether it's sexist to report on Couric's hair, read this: our coverage of Chris Matthews' hair from earlier this year.

I just love how important a woman anchor's haircut is to the media. gosh! who IS her hairdresser? instead of where did she get her journalism stripes and did the Palin interview break the chains on her interviewing skills - considering it was all softball questions and all stupid Palin answers - just what was the brilliance there? But then, hey! she got her HAIR CUT!!!! Bring on the cameras!

Please let this be a sign that Couric is getting ready to beef with the GOP Parrot named Cambell Brown.

Since America is so sexist I don't think the MSM would ever allow Olberman to take Brown out, but I can see the new Couric moving it forward.

Too matronly looking Katie. It is too long to be really considered a "short" cut. If you wanted short, you should have gone for SHORT & SASSY. Now, not so much. Only two choices now: Shorter (and sassier) or lay a few tracks in it until it grows.
