These groups are every bit as dangerous as the radical Islamic groups that pose a danger to America. Timothy McVeigh emerged from a White Nationalist movement similar to these, to execute the most henious terrorist attack committed on domestic soil by an American. The priority on monitoring these groups must be heightened even more, now that we have a black President, I just have this scary feeling that an attempt will be made on Obama's life somewhere, somehow, over the course of the next four years.

I think I'm more amazed by some of the responses of this that the video itself.

I watch this and think, "Duh". These groups have always been alive and well in the US. I think if you're not the target of their hatred, well, you didn't notice.

We need to make sure our new President is being well protected. Those who want to blow this off as a bunch of uneducated folks are ignorant themselves. The most dangerous racist is the "educated" racist. Corporate types who donate to these causes.

In this country, all the great uniters were assassinated, Lincoln, Kennedy and MLK.

We don't have a great history of wanting the races to unite.

Seriously this was the most well thought out comment. If you don't know what's going on you're tragically uninformed. This will probably get me in trouble, but I joined Stormfront.org to monitor the activity in Florida (a big white power area of the USA, big surprise right?) and the posts against Obama went up 30%. The level of violent threats when up 20% at least. These people are scary, smart, and well organized. We need to be constantly vigilant of this kind of bollocks. It's people like this that blew up a building in Oklahoma City. They have a white power rally once a year called Hammerfest in Florida where hate crimes in the surrounding area usually sky rocket because of drunk racists skinheads. Remember, there are non-racist skinheads or Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP) and the movement comes from Jamaican music called ska and reggae. These people ARE NOT SKINHEADS. They are vile disgusting racists who soil the skinhead subculture with their rhetoric and hate.

For me, President-elect Obama is the answer to forty years of prayer.

I remember the day John Kennedy was killed. I was in third grade. My father had been in the Cuban Missile Crisis the year before - and John Kennedy was my hero. I remember when Martin Luther King Jr. and Bobby Kennedy were killed in 1968. Those of us who lived through those years remember what it felt like to see these terrors happen. It was horrible! We also remember what it felt like when the cold settled over our country after Viet Nam and Watergate. It's been a long forty years!

But things really are changing!

After 40 years of agonizingly slow progress while keeping the flame of hope alive, we feel the hope growing! I see staunch conservatives embrace this change. I've noticed the Black community going out of its way to be warm and receptive while they help the White community adjust to its own opportunity to mature. I see the whole World respond gratefully to see us move the rudder of our nation in the direction of understanding, fairness, honesty and goodness. As a 53 year old white man who has lived on both sides of the Mason-Dixon, I could not be more thrilled with what I see!

But as Rhonnybay said, "We need to make sure our new President is being well protected." Any extremists need to know how serious we are about this.

We are taking this opportunity!

I just spent a very sad, stomach-turning Thanksgiving weekend with a relative (by marriage) from Oklahoma (I know they aren't all like her.) But she is very educated and has a doctorate, so I just assumed she wasn't ignorant. The hate for Obama and every black person on television or in the news was unleashed by this election I guess. I was so shocked and sad that there are still people like that in the country. I thought they were all easy to identify by their missing teeth.

The problem is that the anti-racism forces in America are not organized.

In the UK, the Anti-Nazi League that formed during the seventies around the punk rock culture, were basically well organized thugs who would show up at white supremacist rallies (usually the national front) in their hundreds and block them. If there were any ensuing fights, the racists came off second best. The police had to step in to protect them.

Only two weeks ago, the entire membership list of the British National Front was leaked onto the internet and now they're all petrified of personal attacks, losing their jobs etc. ha ha sweet justice.

I'm sure the Southern Poverty Law Center do great work, but the softly softly approach is not what I'm talking about. A proper Anti-Racism organization should be in these idiots faces, not just infiltrating them.

In addition, the majority of the members should be white. Only when these racist groups realize that racism will not be tolerated by the majority of their 'own' race who are also prepared to DO SOMETHING about it, will they start to reassess their twisted beliefs.

More re-writing of history; the native peoples "discovered" the Americas? Sorry, Sylmason, the new world was not discovered, any more than Europe was "discovered". It simply was populated from Asia by nomidic peoples following the natural migration of animals for food. The most popular theory is these peoples came across the land bridge from eastern Russia to Alaska somewhere in time between 15K and perhaps 25K years ago.
Government was "invented" or created out of need as populations grew and conflicts arouse between groups within tribes. Government is not white, black ,brown or red. It is race neutral, and a necessity.

Also, which government is race-neutral??? The U.S. government???? If it is, it just started in November 2008, when Obama was elected to the presidency. Until then, it has been a white man's government that served the greater interests of white people for the last more than 200 years.
