Obama Birth Certificate Lawsuits Flourish Everywhere

Yesterday, I made note of how one of these nutlog lawsuits alleging that President-Elect Barack Obama was not an American citizen had been appealed to the Supreme Court. Well, apparently, that's not the only lawsuit of this sort snaking its way through our court system. The Honolulu Advertiser has the news:

Similar legal actions have been filed here and in several other states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, Georgia and Mississippi.

And maybe one of these suits will be coming to your state, very soon! Maybe we'll be treated to the sight of all these plantiffs piling into a clown car to seek writs of certiorari from John Roberts, so he can hear more about this magnificent criminal conspiracy between Barack Obama's parents, Hawaii state officials, the Weather Underground, and the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company to one day plant Obama in the Oval Office.

I always knew the GOP and bitter HRC supporters would try to steal the election, but I never thought they'd stoop this low. They're trying every last trick in the book to stop a black guy with a (gasp) FOREIGN sounding name to be the American President.

Fortunately, I think the Supreme Court won't even give this the time of day, seeing as how one of the justices has already said no to hearing the case. Clarence Thomas is nothing more than a bitter, self-hating Uncle Tom with a political axe to grind against Obama because number one - Obama said he was disappointed in Thomas, and number two - Janet Napolitano was the prosecuting attorney in Thomas' sexual harrassment case.

Sour grapes, nothing more. Obama is going to be the next President, and the first black President, whether these wingnuts like it or not.

This was on Olbermann tonight it seems that Clarence Thomas is interested in hearing the case but its not the nut one that says he was born in Kenya or Indonesia its the one that says because his Father was not a US Citizen and was a citizen of Britain that he cant be President because he has dual citizenship. Fortunately Turley doesnt think the supreme court is going to hear it. I think if they do there would be picket lines and protest decending on Washington unlike any you've seen. Contrary to what deluisons the republican are living under this is a President who was elected with a mandate.

My question is why....with an economy on the brink of collapse and in the middle of two wars...would you want to be the one to go down in history as the guy who held up a peaceful transfer of power to a new president just to pursue a non issue like this?

Fortunately, credible legal experts almost unanimously agree that this suit has little to no chance of being taken seriously. Hawaii officials have confirmed over and over and over that Obama's birth certificate is authentic and that he is a 100 percent American citizen, and is NOT a dual citizen in any way, shape, or form. The GOP is just bitter and scared because they know that many of them could find themselves in jail. They gambled that the neocons would be in power forever, and they lost. And now they're trying everything they can to prevent their own demise. It's as simple as that.

So there it is, wingnuts...you have no ground to stand on. Obama is going to be your president. DEAL WITH IT.

Obama's father was a British citizen. Obama was born in the United States, and never took an oath of citizenship to the British government. Obama's eligibility to be a dual citizen expired in 1982.

Obama is a 100% American citizen...case closed.
