Jessica Alba Airbrushed Thinner For Campari

Leaked photos which have been posted on various internet blogs show an original shot of Jessica posing for Campari, in an image which was later airbrushed.

The newlywed is seen posing in a white strapless short suit with a black belt on the limited edition calender, snapped by celebrity-photographer Mario Testino.

However in the picture which is not airbrushed, Jessica looks softer and more natural.

In the before picture, Jessica reveals a stunning hourglass figure with a few more curves around the hips and waist.

Bad enough the "need" to make her thinner, but couldn't they at LEAST found someone competent in Photoshop to do it? That belt is hilarious, as is the uneven hems. One leg of those shorts is now 3" longer than the other...lolol!

I for one am SHOCKED. SHOCKED I tell you! Airbrushing of celebrities? What next? Are we going to learn that some Hollywood relationships are just for PR? That some celebrities are really gay? That Tom & Katie aren't the real thing? My world is shattering all around me. Back to my bubble now.

The more people see the actual "before" pictures, the less likely the "after" ones will be as dramatically altered.

As a computer graphics instructor, I have no problem with color correcting, cleaning up wrinkles in clothing, and otherwise making an image look its best.

But the amount of retouching that went on here changed the woman from healthy to hideous.

It seems quite obvious they took Jessica's face and super imposed it on another model's body..look at the legs and her knee caps..they are not the same person.

Wow..why bother to hire these actresses if you must airbrush them to be another person.

when actresses play slinky models, something's gonna give. jessica would never sign off on an unretouched photo. women would tear her apart and her brand would crash. in a movie theater a woman behind me kept trashing the fatness of all the women. i turned around. she was jabbalike.

education, as always, is the way to rise above the lie. boys need to be educated about size too.

this is why so many young women have eating disorders. she looks fine in the original photo, in fact she looks better in the original than she does in the airbrushed version. but, the media has decided to push this image of super thin celebrities (why I don't know). the average american woman is a size 14, yet they want us to believe that a 27 year old, fresh off of the birth of her first child, is a size 0 despite having large bre@sts and hips. get real.

As Aerosmith's Steven Tyler once said. "When did we get obsessed with women having the figure of 14 tear old boys?"
The public would be AMAZED at what can be done pushing pixels in Photoshop.
Most imagery that is presented to the public, has been altered. Reality in advertising, especially, is just an option.
I too agree that Jessica actually looks BETTER before the airbrushing/alteration in Photoshop.
I speak from experience as I am a Graphic Designer & Art Director of over 30 years.

The average American woman is 5'4", 140 lbs, and wears a 14 dress size.
