I Like ItI Don’t Like It

If you think you're sick of the Bush Administration, then how do you think the members of the Bush Administration feel? For empathy's sake, think what it feels like to be on a team of "lame duckies" whose expiration date is just weeks away. White House Press Secretary Dana Perino gave us a window into the soul of a Bush worker looking wistfully at the nearest exit when she discussed the "Obama Administration" with a reporter today. Perino quickly corrected herself, remarking it's "the Obama team, not quite administration." Watch the video:

Even the Bush people want their sorry excuse for an administration to be over. Can't say I blame them.

Freudian slip, or wishful thinking (since the whole administration is acting like they can't wait to get out of town)?

Let me see...your premise is that we should feel sorry for Cheney/Bush administration hacks?
Sorry, Perino is just another mindless drone. Give her a script and she will spout out the rhetoric with grand sincerity.
She would do just as well working for Mugabi or any other such tyrant.

In a few months we will likely see her telling us how great clean coal power plants are doing, or how wonderful the new line of GMC SUV's are.

I'm without a doubt no repub fan but damn the woman misspoke and quickly corrected herself. Not every damn thing is a gotcha moment. I heard some nitwit repeat that PE said 57 states on Cspan as a reality that he wasn't smart. As if the man really didn't know, how many states make up the US? (A constitutional teacher and lawyer)This fo.ol actually repeated it as if she was saying something ingenious.

The Organisation of the Islamic Conference is made up of 57 states. Maybe that's what he was talking about!

Oh, this is so funny that this dimwit said that. Dana Perino, you're another Palin and Bachmann, which means you're dumb and ignorant. Can't wait to see you go away!

It's a story because this is the current rightwing mime: "The Obama Administration." It's straight out of the Republican talking pointst that Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, et al, have been spewing for the past few weeks. They are already trying to lay Bush's disasters at Obama's feet. There needs to be pushback, because it's under the radar, evidenced by those comment on this sight , that say, "It's a non-story." It's a subliminal story.

I guess everyone can make a mistake but Dana Perino. Didn't Biden call Sarah Palin Lt. Governor, refer to Obama as Barack America, refer to the Dem ticket as the Biden Administration? Didn't Obama say he was in 57 states and had 4 more to go? But that's OK.

I think that was a slip more than a gaffe. These are gaffes:

"I will be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this oval office." (George W. Bush, Washington, D.C. May 13, 2008)

"You know, I'm the President during this period of time, but I think when the history of this period is written, people will realize that a lot of the decisions that were made on Wall Street took place over a decade or so, before I arrived in President, during I arrived in President." (George W. Bush, ABC News Interview December 1, 2008).

This really is quite a non-story. But the overall theme of a person who sold out their morals for money, fame and career really hightlights the moral decay and decandence overtaking the American dream.

Is this the best we can do for a story Dana Perino making a small mistake. People are going to make small mistake why does it rate the time for reporter to write it. If she says something that is a lie, such as "their were weapons of mass distruction" or any of the 1000s of lies they tell us report it. But this is trivial. Please quit wasting our time.

There were WMD's in Iraq. Just ask the Kurds that are still alive.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:31 AM on 12/12/2008

Those weapons used against the Kurds were given, or sold to them by the U.S. at the same time Rumsfeld was shaking hands with Saddam. check your history.
