O'Reilly Bleeped Out In Fox News Pot Joke

The Fox News Channel has this delightfully mind-bending late night show called Red Eye, where stoners and insomniacs with acute anger management problems tune in to get pleasurably confused. It is maybe the best thing Fox News does! Anyway, on the December 10, edition, Red Eye's Greg Gutfield had High Times executive editor David Bienenstock on the show to talk about his magazine's latest offering, The Official Pot Smokers Handbook. Naturally, a delightful discussion followed! (Seriously! Bienenstock is CRAZY quick-witted.) And during the chataround, one of the people on the Red Eye panel quipped, "You know, Bill O'Reilly does not like it when you get into his personal stash." Only when the episode aired, the mention of O'Reilly's name was been bleeped out.

The question, of course, is, why? Is joking about Bill O'Reilly now entirely out of bounds at Fox? Or, does Bill O'Reilly really have a personal stash of evergreen that he doesn't want the rest of the network to know about? Actually, it's probably just that so many of the Fox higher-ups hate Bill so much and don't need any additional grief.

For what it's worth, I've always suspected that Red Eye's Andrew Levy probably has the best stash at the network.

I normally hate watching Red Eye, but that segment wasn't too bad. Maybe it's because I really want that book for Christmas! ahha..

Okay, let me speak in a language you can understand­.

First, read the article above.

Jason references the debunked book about Rupert Murdoch as if it was true and not a PR autobiogra­phy. His site just had an article debunking it.
Murdoch isn't stupid, the book was a stunt to remove him from the Fox brand, he got tired of being mocked to sound like a pirate.

Red Eye, is republican love fest of a show. So I couldnt wrap my head around it by saying that "stoners" watch it at night.
You know how many republican stoners I know? Zero, cokeheads sure but no potheads.

Second, do you think we deserve some disclosure that the host, Greg Gutfield is a LONG time blogger on this site.

Thanks for respecting free speech, I respect education and research.
