Jennifer Aniston And John Mayer Talk Naked GQ Cover

At Thursday's Los Angeles premiere of Marley & Me, Jennifer Aniston spoke out for the first time about her naked GQ cover.

"I wasn't trying to make any statement," said the 39-year-old actress, who wears only a tie on the cover.

After a reporter told her she looked hot in the January issue, Aniston replied, "So do you - hottie!"

Her boyfriend John Mayer, who did not walk the carpet with Aniston, said he also thought she looked scorching.

"I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here," he said.

When a reporter tried to get him to hold a copy, Mayer joked, "No, don't make me hold it - you're pimping me out! Because when I touch it, angels die."

Some of you are really obsessive over this stuff! It's entertaining, but gee wiz, it's not like Jennifer is any of you guys' friend or anything. We have no idea what it was like for Brad Pitt to live with her, neither do we know what it's like for him to live with Angelina. Bottom line: Brad wanted kids, Jennifer agreed until they got married, then she felt her career was more important. Angelina thought differently. Was Angelina wrong for going after a married man? Of course, but I don't think any of us are mistake free-it's just that we know about theirs and no one knows about ours. Both of these women are beautiful in their own right, they just appeal to different tastes. I personally think Jennifer has the better body and Jolie has the better face and talent, but its okay if people disagree!

Come on man, are they still talking about the stupid divorce thing? I mean Brad and Angelina obviously belong together and he and Jennifer didn't. It's sad, but maybe not. It seems pretty sleazy to me the way they got together, but if Jennifer doesn't care why should we? She obviously is taking good care of herself and looks great , and appears to be having fun showing it off. Her joke in response to their question sounds like just that - a joke. If your ex-husband got with a woman and had 6 kids in like 3 yrs wouldn't you joke about them? I have to admit I would.

Like your post, sunnybunny. I think Jennifer has been very restrained in the years since her divorce. IMHO, this nude cover is not an effort to get back at Brad. I think she's having fun and seems content in her life. Some folks like the single existence.
