Miss India will still be beautiful when she's 60. Miss Russia will be getting a face-lift.

Maybe Putin gave a talk to the Miss World committee like he did with the Olympic committee that decided--at the last minute-- to choose Sochi. That man can work a crowd!

I'm surprised Saakashvilli didn't invade Armenia during the ceremonies.

What's up with Ms. Russia's eyes? Did Putiin steal them?

I honestly don't understand why it's considered attractive to make one's eyes look like caves. Blech.

It could be said that this demeans and objectifies women, and I won't argue. But, being a man, there's the simple pleasure of just looking at a pretty girl.

What's Miss Trinidad doing in that bunch? Aren't Miss World winners supposed to represent the political ascent of their country or something high falutin' like that? Its the BRIC countries, baby - Brazil, Russia, India, China. Erego all those Miss Indias winning these things for the past 15 years with a Miss China thrown in for good measure. Guess the judges got hypnotized by Miss Trinidad's fake coconuts.

In any case, quit whining about how this stuff demeans women, blah blah blah. It gives drag queens the world over inspiration to go out and make the world a more beautiful place. And that's all that counts. Drag queens with Sarah Palin hair in sequins twirling hoolah hoops.
