Rep. Jan Schakowsky continued the push for a special election to decide Barack Obama's replacement in the Senate during an appearance on CNN Saturday.

Schakowsky, who was among the many candidates hoping to be appointed to the seat by Gov. Blagojevich, said that after the criminal complaint against the governor, "putting the decision in the hands of the people would give more credibility to the candidate." Watch:
