Mike Tyson presented at the Game of the Year videogame awards Sunday night showing off a new figure. Far from the washboard ab physique he showed off during his days as a prize-fighter, Tyson, now 42, sported a bit of belly and a pair of pleated pants.

I was sitting next to him in a club about 6 months ago, and he was not this big. He looked bigger then his boxing days but still looked to be in good shape. Very friendly to everyone there as well- in case you care. Maybe he's been hanging with Oprah???

I'm never going to remember Mike Tyson for anything other than his encounter with Evander Holyfield's ear.
Then you don't know a damn thing about boxing mate. Mike Tyson was THE most exciting boxer of his generation, and all you can remember is an ear bite? Whatever man....
Tyson in fact bit BOTH of Holyfield's ears. I believe he was able to take a piece out of only one (which he visibly spit out in the ring) but both were bitten.
I remember how he ran into someone's car and then threatened to kick them in the nuts.

I dont want to defend any of the terrible things Tyson did in the past, but for anyone who is interested in him (I think almost everything he does is riveting from a 3rd party perspective) I really suggest learning more about his early days as a fighter and the tragic fall from grace that is his story. Mike Tyson should be a educational tale for any young potential superstar athlete: people that young and inexperienced (Tyson was the youngest heavy weight champ in history) should be very vigilant about who they allow to manage/guide/mentor them. Mikes downfall came from being surrounded by people (namely Don King) who had no concern for him other than how much potential profit he could put in their pockets. His story is truly a tragic one of lost potential and talent.
Things started going downhill when Cus Damato died...
He was never the same after that. But then again Cus was 77 when he died, so he wasn't going to make it much farther.
When you have Don King in the mix, plus Robin Givens, and a self destructive streak, the odds are all against you. Bad choices, great boxer....

He's probably depressed and that will make you balloon up, believe me I know. The best thing to do (thank you my beloved shrink) is to get into the gym and work out on your own pace. Depression can happen to anyone. Get help Mike.

When you stop doing c o k e, the metabolism slows down and weight gain is almost automatic. Add that fact to not working out anymore and presto.
I still wouldn't say anything about it to his face.
Amazing how a few pounds could turn him from Spock to George Foreman.
