Bristol Palin is expecting her first child, a son, on Dec. 20 -- and her grandfather says their family has been receiving support and gifts from all over the world.

"In Sarah's mailroom, there's 87 boxes -- big boxes of mail that haven't even been opened," Sarah Palin's father, Chuck Heath, 70, tells the Web site Grandparents.com. "I've been answering letters all day, all week. We figure there's over a hundred thousand pieces here."

The grandbaby hasn't been born yet as far as anyone knows, but what are the odds that it'll be born today and that a big fuss is made about it by Palin - although historians­/astronome­rs believe that the "Other" significant birth actually took place in April - 17th, 6BC - according to one report.

Sarah has been a grandmother since February or March. part 1 of 2
All theories that I have read assume that April 18 is the true birth date of Trig. BECAUSE Sarah Says so doesn’t make it true.
No birth certificate & the incredible journey from Dallas. Several pediatricians are on record that an amniocentesis (supposedly performed in December on Sarah)would have been very risky and irresponsible.
Assume that Bristol is trigs mother, that the baby was actually born in Feb. or early March, & the Downs syndrome, (possibly meth baby complications) was a surprise.

What if the original plan (plan A) was for Bristol to deliver in secrecy & quietly place the baby for adoption ?
Wouldn't be the first time a family chose this option – usually for the perceived benefit of the Daughter.
The surprise would have made it impossible for Plan A.
On to plan B. Sarah decided to announce her own pregnancy- unusually late in the process. Photos disappeared etc.
Thus the flight from Dallas was risk free. No risk in bypassing the neonatal specialty hospitals in favor of the friendly little ole clinic in Wasilla where a doctor, non certified in pediatrics, with very little delivery experience,and subsequently promoted to State office, supposedly was the wisest choice for a high risk delivery? If there were one for an alleged newborn known to have Downs.

I never ' used to ' put a lot of faith in to the fact that Trig was Sarah's. However.. I started doing internet searches seeing if Bristols Bady was born yet.... the Dec 20th due date.
Hmmmm... here it is the 24th? How could they have predicted and been so far 'off' on the 20th. If she delivers a 'few weeks' from now you have to start counting backwards.

All you Mothers out there.... I have a question?
Supposedly Sarah says her water broke while in Dallas at the conference. (before she had to do her speech) She lectured and then hopped on that long plane ride to make sure the delivery was in Alaska.

Isn't it very dangerous for the 'child' at this stage to fly because of the pressurized cabin...????

Remember that this scenario is based upon Bristol giving birth in February, or early March. (I think you can pin Trigs delivery date down by reasoning that it occurred shortly before Sarah’s own pregnancy announcement).

Bristol must have thought that lightening would not strike twice! So she conceived the now expected child in April, or even May and doesn't know she is pregnant (and /or is scared to death to go to Momma AGAIN with the news. Momma might have already brought trig out of hiding by faking the birth on April 18, by the time daughter fessed up.
Imagine Sarah's reaction upon finding out daughter dear is pregnant AGAIN!
Story wise she is ok until McCain picks her as his running mate in August.

I wonder what Palin will do with those kids when she is campaigning for 2012? It's not just a few months on the campaign trail, but a few years. Will she take them out of school and drag them around the lower 48 to "prove" she is a mom?

I am sure that she will take the whole Wasilla hillbilly family on the road. She doesn't care that her kids could be exploited ....she exploits them herself.

Yet there are many in the GOP who are holding this baby up as if they were a symbol of the American family, as as a marker of Palin being a good mom. What?

My concern with this article and the recent news of Baby Palin's paternal grandmother's arrest is still, as it was during the campaign,Sarah's choice of career at the expense of her family. I can't help but feel that if she was doing right by her children, Bristol would NOT be in this predicament. Chuck even said, innocently enough, that she'll be a great grandmother, but isn't sure how much she'll be able to be around. Sounds like she has that problem with her own kids as well. Wasilla is a small town( i know, I live here)- even if she did not have explicit proof of Levi's mother's dealing, there is always rumor, suspicion, etc. that goes around in parent circles. Parents should be making it their business to know the people their kids are hanging around. Her lack of parenting is offensive.

I'm all for public service, but if you aren't taking care of business in your own backyard first and foremost, your public service isn't going to be very effective.

How can you be a great grandmother when you're a lousy mother? Personally,I'm not bothered about the pregnancy, (being an old hippie and having no morals) it's letting her drop out of school that gets me.Oh goodie! She can become a welfare mom and the tax payers can pay for the kids that she will probably have every nine months.That kid needs A- some sex education so she won't get pregnant.B- some real education so she can pay her own way.

A great mother doesn't allow her 17 yr. old daughter to become the most gawked at unwed pregnant teen in the world. It's a mother's duty to protect her children. As such, Palin should have just coughed up Trig's birth certificate--end of story--and let Bristol retreat to the privacy and security of home. But she didn't. Proof once again, that no-shame Palin puts herself first. By the way, it is possible to have children 9 months apart....want to see my kids's birth certificates?

Obama has, to this day, not authorized the state of Hawaii to release his Certificate of Live Birth -- the 'long form' -- to prove that he is a 'natural born citizen' (NBC), a Constitutional requirement of all presidents. Instead, We, the People, have online access to an Obama document known as a Certification of Live Birth"

My kids were born overseas at a military hosptial- they don't have a "traditional" birth certificate- but rather, a "live birth" style. It looks like no certificate I've ever seen that's for sure. People I have had to show this to for whatever reason, have questioned it every time.

It's pretty sad that people are questioning Obama's birth. If he was WHITE, there would be no question. It would never occur to anyone TO question it.

Trisha08- I agree with you, but please remember that many of us are transplants here and do not support our governor. We're military and are doing our time here. We wanted to come here, but not because of how the state is governed, but because we wanted to experience the beauty and unique atmosphere the state of AK has to offer.

There is a growing movement to hold Palin accountable and I urge everyone to watch the elecction on 2010. I know I will be doing what I can to ensure she isn't reelected. She offends every sensibility I have.
