I Like ItI Don’t Like It

CNN announced this morning that senior political correspondent Candy Crowley will interview George Bush this afternoon. The interview will air on The Situation Room, and Crowley plans to ask Bush "to reflect on the current state of the country's economy, his recent trip to Iraq and his legacy."

READ HIGHLIGHTS OF CROWLEY'S INTERVIEW WITH BUSH

Late last year, Bush spoke about Crowley at the end of a press conference on Iran. In that press conference, he said that while he would miss the rush of campaigning during the 2008 cycle, he would not miss getting sick...from Crowley's germs:

"What I'm not gonna miss, which is what we all, some of us went through in 2000, which was getting on an airplane and having...my friend Candy Crowley pass a virus around. I got a respiratory infection, so did half the press corps. They got off the plane; I didn't get to get off the plane! It was tough."

Watch that press conference clip below:

What I would give to see her cough and sneeze in this interview--and then shake his hand when they're done.

Would he have the nerve, on camera, to use the hand sanitizer like he did with Obama?

Bush is so passive-aggressive. So many of his little "quips" are actually nasty digs at other people.

Like this. He's so spoiled and utterly lacks empathy of any kind. I think there's a name for people like that.....

Gee, has anyone ever seen the conditions these reporters work in> Freezing rain, cold, pouring rain, long hours, nothing frou frou, no special treatment from anyone, they get cursed, yelled at, and this is on a good day. I met Candy, and she never complained about any of this, just did her job, got the interviews done, worked over time to get it right. If she caught a virus, it happens folks, nobody is immune. Ya don't get off time when doing a political spot. Ya snooze, ya lose. Just how it works. Lots of people willing to replace you in the blink of an eye. She is the consumate professional. If Bush caught a virus, perhaps it wasn't from Candy, rather one of the smelly, disease ridden fools he works with. Or the ones whom he does business with, I am sure they are far from disease free.

Funny - I've never heard a discussion around how attractive the MALE correspondents are on the news. Perhaps the listeners would prefer the Pop-Tart FOX versions?

Corporate News Network sucking up the powerful? SHOCKING!

Wonder why Jack Cafferty doesn't have his own show? Well you shouldn't and this article makes it clear why.

Jack Cafferty can't have his own show cause Wolf is so busy yelling;
"Stand by folks...."
"CNN now projects....."
"The best political team on television....."
"Late Edition, the last word in Sunday Talk...."

Of all the Presidents, Bush hardly show any rapid aging process as the others have shown, shows he sleeps rather well, considering all the wrongs done by him....

Are you kidding? Bush looks like a haggard, leathery, old man. That's not to say the sociopath doesn't sleep well.

Are you kidding? If you compare a pic of him right now compared to even a year ago, he looks like his own grandfather. Aging will advance faster as his various mental disorders take over...

Are you kidding? He's like the picture of Dorian Grey, only HE is the one that looks like crap instead of the pictures.
Clinton just got more grey. Bush looks like he's been "rode hard and put away wet."

It must be the food.

It certainly can't be the stress.

Maybe George Bush is a vampire. That would explain why he sees nothing when he loooks himself in the mirror.

Why does this dolt get any air time (rhetorical question)?! His "jokes", in common with his entire persona, are so juvenile and lame. Is it too much to hope that Crowley will conduct anything remotely like an interview? Or will she treat him with the usual undeserved deference that the rest of the media (with a few notable exceptions - and these would never be allowed anywhere near the Shrub) bestow on this sad, tragic and very dangerous joke.

Think that Bush is juvenile acting because something horrific happened to him in his early childhood development and he got "stuck" in the time that it happened. Thus, the juvenile state for the rest of his life. He hasn't grown beyond this.

Do you think that Bush proves the need to require psychological profiles done on all candidates BEFORE they are candidated for ANY office? They must pass the test!

The American people shouldn't get somebody who is psychologically impaired in office.

He's miffed because she gave him a virus? He's given a case of death to more than 1 million people!! Pity she didn't give him something fatal.

Thanks for clearing that up, I've been wondering who the unidentified man was and what he had to do with the story :)

He must be arrogant. After sending 4,100+ soldiers to their deaths and several thousand maimed, I can't believe he hasn't resumed drinking.
