I Like ItI Don’t Like It

CNN announced this morning that senior political correspondent Candy Crowley will interview George Bush this afternoon. The interview will air on The Situation Room, and Crowley plans to ask Bush "to reflect on the current state of the country's economy, his recent trip to Iraq and his legacy."

READ HIGHLIGHTS OF CROWLEY'S INTERVIEW WITH BUSH

Late last year, Bush spoke about Crowley at the end of a press conference on Iran. In that press conference, he said that while he would miss the rush of campaigning during the 2008 cycle, he would not miss getting sick...from Crowley's germs:

"What I'm not gonna miss, which is what we all, some of us went through in 2000, which was getting on an airplane and having...my friend Candy Crowley pass a virus around. I got a respiratory infection, so did half the press corps. They got off the plane; I didn't get to get off the plane! It was tough."

Watch that press conference clip below:

C'mon Candy, don't worry, he can't hurt you. Or ban you. Ask him if he really doesn't get what "that guy's problem is" who threw the shoes at him. Ask him how a man so stunningly without conscious can attain the highest level in the land. You'll get richly rewarded by your audience, and your peers who lack the stones to ask him any substantive questions about how he royally screwed up our country, our national pride and our moral stature throughout the world.

Bush's life was made tough because he got a respiratory infection and couldn't get off the plane? How tough are the lives of our soldiers fighting his war who have to get off a plane without limbs? How tough are their lives when they try to rest in grave-size holes dug in sand? How tough are their lives when they march through heat of over 120 wearing heavy gear and carrying heavy weapons? How tough are their lives when they are trying to hide from attacks when many of the attackers are enemies created by Bush's invasion and occupation of their country?

Bottom line is that I'm really sick of this man's whining! In the future, if he is to get a virus, make it something worth righting about.

BAD ENGLISH ALERT! Dear editors: Since Crowley is the subject of the headline, Bush is the object. The headline should read "Candy Crowley to Interview Bush, WHOM she infected in 2000."

I agree, but since we "supposedly" speak/write American instead of English, anything goes, I guess, irregardless (intentional use to prove my point) of what is correct..

For 8 years, King George W wouldn't speak when we wanted answers. Now that we just want him to resign, the media can't get enough of his asinine braying.

I am sure that Candy will throw the questions soft and slow.... nothing of substance will be asked about and nothing substantial will be said...

She is one of the few females in TV journalism that is very physically unattractive, and her reporting skills don't make up for what she lacks in appearance. I would like to see less of her because she flat out is not that good of a reporter to me.

Too bad it wasn't the plague she was passing around. Could have saved us all from his presidency.

Poor guy -- What do you want to bet the soldiers on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan don't get to LEAVE either when they come down with a cold?
