Daley To Introduce Incentives For Disabled-Owned Businesses

Businesses owned by people with disabilities would get an advantage on city contracts, thanks to an ordinance Mayor Daley plans to introduce at Wednesday's City Council meeting.

In 2002, the city's Department of Procurement Services created a special designation for companies owned by people with disabilities to stimulate business opportunities for them.
