A Long Island PTA official has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police say she was caught half-naked in a car with a 13-year-old boy.
Joan Tuckruskye, 44, of Baldwin, N.Y., was found with the boy in the parking lot of Meadow Elementary School. When an officer approached the Nissan Pathfinder, neither was wearing pants, according to police.

I'm all for legal parity, but you must admit that there is some reason that many many people don't find a grown woman fooling around with a teenager to be on par with pedophilia. I'm not saying you're going to like what YOU find when you examine "why" that is.. but our culture's unwillingness is hold women responsible has got to come from somewhere. Our current culture is the visible tip of the iceberg of our human history and there is very little precedent in history of adolescent males being sexually abused by women of any age. Personally I find it gross and it will probably give this kid some peculiar lifelong fetish, but, treating him like he is now a victim is only going to further confuse him. In my opinion, oppression or abuse in any form sexual or otherwise stems from exerting power over someone. If this case demonstrates that then she should be punished,( for instance, what was the guy's reaction to being caught?). I would need to know more before thinking about locking her up for a long time.

I think it's a shame that a grown woman can't get a man her own age or at least of legal age to sleep with. I quess when your a very horny young man, looks don't matter because she is not attractive. Nope. But as a former 13 year old boy I can tell you that if the opportunity had ever presented itself I would have consented. If memory server that was around the time I had found this wonderful toy that I was actually born with. To get to share it with someone else was my number one goal at that point. Look it up; Florida has among the toughest sex offense laws in the country. Even though no one saw him, his 'confession' is enough.
