Late-Night's Shoe-Throwing Joke Bonanza (VIDEO)

The late-night shows not in repeats had a field day Monday night with the Bush shoe-throwing incident. Below is a video of some of the best from Conan, Leno, Letterman and Ferguson.

A few of jokes:

Letterman: I don't think President Bush has dodged anything like that since, well, the Vietnam War.

Leno: Looks like we finally found something President Bush is good at - dodgeball!

Ferguson: The shoe-throwing incident has made Sarah Palin want to be president even more. Free shoes! You betcha!

Conan: He's being hailed as a hero in Iraq... when he dies he'll be greeted in heaven by 172 podiatrists.

You'd think George Bush would realize what a mistake it would be for him to take a "victory lap" around an area where we have neither been victorious nor even been able to define "victory"; but that assumes he has any common sense, which by now we realize he has none. He got what he deserved, and his FAILURE of a Presidency will be forever marked by that stupid banner in the aircraft carrier and now this shoe-ducking incident. WHAT A CONTRAST - HOW APPROPRIATE.
