Blagojevich Quotes Elvis, Says He'll Talk 'Soon' (VIDEO)

Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Wednesday that he "can't wait" to tell his side of the story and expects to do so no later than Thursday.

"I can't wait to begin to tell my side of the story and to address you guys and, most importantly, the people of Illinois. That's who I'm dying to talk to," he said as he left his home Wednesday morning for a jog.

"There's a time and place for everything. That day will soon be here and you might know more about that today, maybe no later than tomorrow."

Asked about when he will talk about the case, Blagojevich, an Elvis acolyte, made his first public King reference since his arrest on federal corruption charges:

"To quote Elvis, 'hang loose.' Now can I get a run in, do you think?"

Why is it that an inordinate amount of Pycho's like this egotistical maniac some from in and around Chicago. Is there something in the water there? 6 out of 4 governors, and everyone I know from Chicago/Schamburg seems to have issues - like the Peter Pan theory. They do not live in reality, think they can rationalize anything, deny when there is overwhelming proof otherwise and just have an ego the size of the State of Illinois.
Although I know nobody that currently lives in Chicago, everyone I know that is from there is no longer there but they think Chicago has the best 'everything'. If that is so, why do they move away? Sounds like they mostly have huge issues.

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) may be facing his lowest approval ratings ever, according to a new Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday.

54 percent of Connecticut voters said they disapproved of the way Lieberman is handling his job, while 38 percent said they approved. The numbers are the lowest approval ratings Lieberman has faced since the poll started tracking his popularity.

"This is the highest disapproval rating in any Quinnipiac University poll in any state for a sitting U.S. senator--except for New Jersey's Robert Torricelli, just before he resigned in 2002," said Quinnipiac University Poll Director Douglas Schwartz.
