Will Smith Gives $122,500 To Scientology

Will Smith gives generously to many causes, and one of them is the Church of Scientology. A Fox News report on his charitable foundation's tax return shows that $122,500 was donated to Scientology causes, out of $1.3 million given overall.

He also gave a combined $122,500 to the Church of Scientology, broken into these donations: $67,500 to the New York Rescue Workers Detoxication Fund, $50,000 to the group's Celebrity Center in Hollywood and $5,000 to ABLE, another Scientology offshoot. Smith and his wife have also supported a private school called New Village Academy they opened this fall in suburban Los Angeles that uses Scientology learning concepts.

Smith has talked about his study of Scientology and also said he is not a Scientologist.

Will bought auditing and courses and that's called a donation now. Will is a Scientologist and has been one for awhile. Will has already said enough about his private life that it would be VERY difficult for him to leave now.

Tom fought hard for Amazon ban this new book written by a 22 year insider ... just came out 2 months ago and it is a mind blower. IF they only knew what anyone else can know ... Scientologists are not allowed to read this one:

Food banks (well, apart from those Faith-Based Initiative kooks), don't usually coerce celebrities into confessing their deepest secrets and/or the things they're most ashamed of.

That said, perhaps they should - they could buy more & better groceries with Hollywood $$$. I'm guessing there are a lot of people who'd love to get something other than government cheese & ham in a can from their local food bank.
