After eight years in the White House, President Bush's twin daughters are looking forward to a respite from Washington -- if only for their father's sake.

In a PEOPLE interview, Jenna Hager and Barbara Bush, both 27, reflect on the strain George W. Bush has been under. The twins also offer some advice to the Obamas' daughters, Sasha and Malia, and Jenna's new husband Henry Hager talks about bonding with the First Father-in-Law.

Delusions of gradeur will be hard for the Bushites, and if karma is what it is, either they pay in this life or the next!

what is literally causing me to be s ic k right now, is seeing them get out of limos and SUVs, with drivers and security, going to holiday parties at the White House with the wealthy THAT ARE PAID FOR BY US SCHMOES.

Then to hear them say how hard their father has it. Hello, girls. Your id*ot father has ruined a nation, k i l l-ed thousands needlessly, li e d all with a smug smirk on his f e r r et face.

Pure arrogance and indifference. Driven by ego and ideology for his glory.

Its also as though the tw ins are blaming the Democrats.

Over 80% of America is holding its breath til Jan 20. We wonder what additional horrors can your father bestow upon us.

All the while, they inherit wealth and a TX mansion, as people sit in their homes waiting for the sheriff's department sticker any day now.

Does anyone else find it interesting that the entire family plans to retreat to Texas? I just have this vision of the Alamo......

Actually, it's a stopping off place.

If the war crime investigations start up, they are on their way to the compound down in Paraguay.
Yeah, THAT "undisclosed location", right next to the Moonie, Reverend Sun Myung Moon's compound. Bush of the 41st and Neil (the no good brother) are shills on Moon's payroll for millions.

It shows they have no intellectual curiosity just like their father. They will walk through life in total denial of the reality outside their little fantasy worlds. A sad, but dangerous bunch.

They're forgetting that their father had the highest approval ratings ever recorded for a president at one point in his first term, and now he has the lowest. People gave him a chance and he blew it. A president has to be an abject failure to go from a 90% approval to a 26% approval - you have to be so bad that an overwhelming majority of Americans actually CHANGED THEIR MINDS, ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG. It's hard to convince people to change their minds and admit they were wrong - Bush managed to do it.

Jenna and Barbara should look to their father's record if they're curious about his failure rather than comfort themselves that he was badly judged by America.

Thank God I had a father who not only could think for himself--he taught me to do the same!

Dear Bush Daughters:

It wasn't how people treated your father, it was how your father treated people.

As a Texan, we'd really appreciate it if your whole family could go somewhere else.

Sorry "ladies" . . . America will be GREAT without the Bush Family ANYWHERE near civilization . . . in time maybe you will realize that your drunken escapades and family fortune was paid for by 4,209 American Heroes and BILLIONS of America TAXPAYERS dollars . . .

Go quietly and be glad it's NOT the French Revolution . . . .

Okay, so we can assume from this interview that (a) neither one is a PoliSci major and (b) neither one reads a flippin' newspaper. Sheesh. I sure hope this wasn't intended to provoke sympathy for the kids or their old man. "Strain?!?!" Sorry. He exhausted my stock of ohpoorbaby cards a long, long time ago.

Do they assume that we are all just really mean people who have no reason to be angry about the last 8 years? Surely even they should recognize what he and the neo-cons have done to this country and most of the world. You almost have to be trying to screw up as badly as they did and even then it seems impossible. So they need to climb into a cave and wait until the world forgets his name and then maybe, MAYBE, they can come out of hiding or until h e ll freezes over.
