I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Jennifer Aniston may have gotten more than she bargained for when she sat down with a fawning Harry Smith for an interview on "The Early Show" on Friday. Smith's schoolboy-like crush on Aniston even got mocked by coanchor Maggie Rodriguez.

Smith didn't talk at all about Aniston's movie "Marley & Me," other than playing a clip to introduce the segment, instead spending four minutes talking to Aniston about her appearance, her workout regimen and her life.

Holding up her naked-but-for-a-tie GQ cover, Smith said, "You take a pretty good picture. How old are you now?"

He then gifted her unprompted with an even-smaller bowtie for the next time.

In the minutes that followed Harry's questions and comments included but were not limited to:

- How do you stay in shape?
- How many hours of yoga a day?
- You wear it well (told she was 39)
- It's like this is your, Jennifer Aniston time
- You look great, I just, it, mm. It bears mentioning
- I'm blushing

At the end of the segment after it was tossed back to her, Rodriguez imitated Smith and exclaimed, "WOW Harry! Now he's trying to get her to stick around and try some yoga positions."

Let Jennifer be. There is something about her that people relate to good or bad. We are all imperfect, perhaps that is why she is so well liked? On another subject, please check out my site and spread the word! Let's focus on even bigger stuff! : ) http://www.cafepress.com/09_inauguration

Interesting body language comes through in this clip if you turn off the sound. Harry leans in toward her repeatedly. He holds his hands over his chest like grasping two melons. Aniston has her arms crossed against her chest, leans back, furrows her brow. She turns her head away repeatedly. In the end, he is leaning in and she is wringing her hands. The vibe I get is that Harry went over the limits in this interview and creeped the lady out.

Sorry Jen. You can stand there without a stitch and Angelina can stand there in her outfit from Tomb Raider and , oh well, my mind just went blank.

Not too much different from Chris Matthews telling the world he gets a woody when Obama speaks.

Matthew's woody is not enough of a distraction to keep him from implying Obama was involved in wrongdoing in the Blago controversy.

Don't forget Matthews googy-eyed fawning over the one female reporter who's name I can't recall. He asked to put the camera back on here to look at her eyes or something like that. Very creepy and you might say a little sexist and a little unprofessional. Or a lot.

I really think it was a mistake to pose for GQ in conjunction with a geared toward family consumption. I have yet to see Marley and Me promoted first and foremost since JA's cover, and I almost forget that Owen Wilson or the dog are in it too! The GQ cover has definitely cast JA in a light that while nice in the short term (great bod at 39 and all that) is in the longterm placed her in a different cat than I think she was seeking. She's now starting (according to men I know) to be seen as simply a classier Pam Anderson type HW celebriBABE. She's now seen more "hot" than talented, and less an actress and more a famous bode who looks good for almost 40.

Interestingly, Jennifer Aniston is probably doing a lot better than most woman her age. She certainly lives a healthy lifestyle, and looks 15 years younger than she is. Thankfully, too, Aniston did not succumb to the role of doormat for Jolie & Pitt; but is, instead, leading her own life ... in her own way. Maybe her obvious personal 'empowerment' is what you don't understand, meleon?

If she is so empowered then why does she look so uncomfortable. She trots around naked and then looks confused when men treat her like a sex symbol. It's Jennifer time? Sure. Whatever.

Why should Jennifer Aniston treat Jolie any better than how she treated her?

And also, why shouldn't she do a cover in the buff, if she's single & wishes to do so?

BTW, I'm happily married ... but if my husband's co-worker made the moves on him (like Angie did on Brad while filming the terribly-acted "Mrs. & Mrs. Smith") & got involved in an affair with him (i.e., emotional &/or physical) & then deliberately lied to everyone about it & subsequently got pregnant with his baby ~ before even the ink dried on the divorce papers (talk about desperate) ... well, I seriously doubt I'd have a lot of loving, gracious words for that "Other Woman," either.

For his part, Brad Pitt should've had more backbone & some remorse about his unethical behaviors while on the job with Angie Jolie, too (even if she herself didn't). I would have!

Jennifer Aniston has grown way past both of these people!

So ... say what you will about Jen's good girl image & roles; but she is a decent human being (you can't take that away from her ... her life & behaviors attests to that reality); while Angelina Jolie is the complete opposite ~ having had many bizarre moments & lifestyle choices.

Please explain, why do women always blame the other woman?

Do you honestly think Brad Pitt has never had women hitting on him?

Do you think your husband doesn't? do you?

The person with the commitment should have to answer for their actions.
They should hold true to their own commitments.

Plus, Brad had not been happy. He has publicly admiting wanting kids for a very long time,
Jen wanted to wait.

I think that Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie clearly crossed the line, where his marriage & his prior wife (Jennifer Aniston) were concerned. Yes, you can easily come up with any number of reasons for why they did what they did (e.g., Brad unhappy or in a midlife crisis; Jolie anxious to get pregnant & other personal issues involving her mother's cancer; the hyped film Mr. & Mrs. Smith turning out to be a box office failure, etc.) ~ but it doesn't make it right.

It irks me that women do that also. Women hit on my husband but if he stepped out on me the fault lies in him, not in the other women.

Pitt was in control of his actions and for some reason he chose to leave his first wife. Whether it was right or wrong is a moot point now.

shedances, your belief that Jen has a halo and Angie has horns is ri dic u lous among other things. No one is all innocent just like no one is all guiltless, and this idea that you seem to have that Jen didn't contribute to the breakdown of her marriage is naive. Brad wasn't seduced nor weak. He and Jen broke up and he chose not to wait to move on. Simple, done deal, end of it.

And unless you have irrefutable proof Angelina Jolie made the moves on Brad while on set, then prove it because otherwise all you have is rumor, inuendo, and gossip rag bu ll to shore up your obvious bent towards Jennifer Aniston.

There is nothing wrong with praising both virtue & beauty in someone like Jennifer Aniston. Moreover, there is nothing wrong with being very irritated & disappointed in the behaviors of a big star like Angelina Jolie, towards her then-married co-star/co-worker Brad Pitt. And No... I don't (& won't, for that matter) be bullied into thinking that what they did was somehow acceptable/okay (i.e., having an extramarital affair ~ clearly wrong ~ while his marriage was in danger & very badly hurting another person's spouse ... in this particular case, Aniston). Clear enough?

Well ... it's not like Harry could talk about her acting skills, hit movies, or Oscar nominations - all of which are non-existent! There was nothing substantive to talk about, especially considering his guest ... sad, desperate, D-lister Jennifer Alone-iston! Viva Brangelina, baby!!!

Aniston is no OSCAR type actress, just a pin up girl and an INFAMOUS personality. If Brad Pitt hadn't split with her, her career would have been over a long time ago. The divorce caused her fame and noteriety....like no film acting job ever did.

When they resort to nude poses, they are teedering on "over the hill"....Stick a fork in her, she's beyond done, she's jerky.

I too prefer Jennifer Aniston ten times over the duck-lipped Angelina Jolie. But, as far as films go ~ no, I'm not crazy about the types of movies/characters Aniston prefers to play; however, she is being herself, which I find refreshing in a Hollywood actor. On that note, I couldn't believe how unattractive Jolie appeared in the recent film, "Changeling" (Clint Eastwood could've done a better job directing her too, esp. in the getting up in the morning scenes Angie just couldn't pull off or how she interacted with her son prior to his kidnappping ... but she does seem adept at playing the distraught female character in a mental hospital, I suppose).

This chick is as appalling as Amy Winehouse naked. She still talks abut Angelina, get over it she didn't take your man, he left you for her.

Actually, Amy Winehouse is a gifted singer ... very much like the famous French cafe singer Edith Piaf & unfortunately, going that same direction. Apples & oranges, letmeetc.
