Lisa Rinna

Lisa Rinna, the actress recently of "Dancing with the Stars" and wife of Harry Hamlin, is set to pose for Playboy.

Again.

She last posed for the magazine while pregnant back in 1998.

Syndicated tv show Extra reports:

The 45-year-old mother of two and former Dancing with the Stars contestant tells "Extra," "I'm the worst liar on the planet, I can't lie, so... I think that could be a yes."

Rinna and Hamlin recently signed a deal for a reality show.

Why don't we see a slew of Hollywood men posing nude for Playgirl? It seems that every two weeks there is a news flurry over the latest "actress" posing nude for soft-core. Can't even imagine having this situation reversed, with famous men posing nude and creating a stir every two weeks. They wouldn't lower themselves. Men are way ahead of us women on this one.

The difference is that women wouldn't really care if they did.

So much talk about nudity. What's the big deal? Oh well, I guess that's just the way of the world.

Nudity itself isn't a big deal. But Playboy uses nudity of women for men's entertainment. When are we women going to say "enough."

The real obscenity is the complete lack of dignity in her personality.

Let me see if I get this straight... the magazine won't show crotch shots, but I get to look at stunning photographic work of the Labia Minora on her face?

Nothing against Ms. Rinna. I think she's sexy as hell. But do people still buy Playboys? And if so, why?

her face is a grotesque plastic surgery disaster.

We see Lisa everywhere because she works VERY HARD at being seen everywhere. And clearly she has a publicist who is extraordinary at doing his/her job. It's certainly not because of her talent, but because of her commitment to being out there publicly. And, she is amazing at that.

Yes, but WHY? Why commit to being out there, as you say. Is it just exhibitionism, or?

did any of you read/look at the huf article about the french art class nude models that went on strike? there were pic's of them standing outside in the buff. to me those ladies were 'real' not all injected, inserted, or what have you. no one is perfect, to me that what makes someone interesting, adds character. lisa looks like a cartoon character. she may be a great person, and all that, but people looking at playboy, and her pictorial aren't interested in anything other than the photos. sorry this woman is just a younger version of joan rivers.

I have come to detest photo shoots of the beautiful. It's like showing photo layouts of a feast to the starving -- mouth-watering torture.

As someone who has actually worked with Lisa several times, it boggles the mind how petty and nasty people can be from the safe anonymity of their lonely online lives. I'm glad you all know her so well that you feel free to judge her, demean her and talk about her body as if you actually have a shred of evidence on your side. Here is a woman in her mid-40's who bothers no one, has raised a beautiful family (her and Harry, not a staff of multiple nannies, FYI), maintained a loving marriage and built both an acting career and two successful retail businesses here in Los Angeles. They work when they want and on what they want because their life at home is their priority. Harry and Lisa are great parents who always put their kids first and don't feel the need to parade them around in public for the sake of a photo op. Lisa also has a great sense of humor about herself and, in my limited experiences with her, has never been anything less than fun, kind, gracious and professional. Of course, none of that matters to this crowd of gadflies. Who cares about the person when you nasty people can have a field day ripping her to shreds? Pathetic.

I don't doubt what you say. She seems like a lady with a good sense of humor--which she's more than willing to direc at herself.

But...please bear in mind that the Lisa Rinnas of this world are really just abstractions to the rest of us, not "real human beings," and that is the unfortunate price they pay for their wealth and fame? I'm not arguing against your comment; on the contrary, I think it's heart-felt and necessary. I guess I'm just asking for your patience for those of us who don't work in the industry? Sorry....

Thanks for an intelligent response and I agree with you 100%. By no means am I defending the industry I work in. Believe me, like any business, there are jerks a plenty here and I'd be the first to call them out on it. Yes, being Hollywood, it all seems bigger and more flashy (and the jerks louder and more obnoxious) but the truth is the bulk of the entertainment industry is made up of cool, ordinary people just trying to earn a living. I've worked with talent off and on for many years. Most are actually a pleasure and some particularly so. Events with Lisa (and Harry) always stick out in my mind as fun and painless work experiences. It's one thing to make the "Lisa's lips" jokes and other harmless stuff that's been said a million times. What bugs me is how these comments, made from the safe anonymity of the Internet, rapidly devolve into really rotten and hateful gutter talk. FYI, I'm not addressing that to you but to a number of the other posters here. I agree 100% that public figures knowingly (and willingly) pay a price for fame and fortune. It just saddens me that the same people who so willingly cross a line of decorum online are the same people who would flip out if anyone ever talked that way about them or a member of their family. Thanks for NOT falling into that trap. I appreciate your perspective.

Ummm-keep it together? I'm sure she works out, but to pretend she hasn't had a ton of cosmetic surgery on her blouse puppies is silly.

Well, heck, Playboy pays really well. There'll be plenty of money so she can stuff more Botox into her lips, and plastics into various other parts.

Meow? Really? LOL Who says that anymore? LOL

Yes, I'm a woman and yes I find her creepy but that's not out of jealousy. I'm quite capable of making a decision - even being a woman. I mean, I think Jennifer Aniston is beautiful, I've been sticking up for her in all the anti-jenn threads ... no one meowed at me there, lol.

Seriously.

Meow.

Thanks for the laugh.
