Jerry Seinfeld: I Hate Kids' Birthday Parties (VIDEO)

Jerry Seinfeld tried out some new standup on "The Late Show" Friday night before sitting next to David Letterman and delivering a few more humorous rants from a seated position.

After his standup routine that had a large focus on cookies, the father-of-three sat down and told Letterman about kids birthday parties.

"I go to all of them. I hate every single one of them... Do you find other people's kids never look quite right?"

He especially hates pinatas and bouncy castles, on which his daughter apparently broke an arm, and he told Dave exactly why.

He's afraid of clowns. They're generally funnier, and far less whiny. The guy made millions off of the other three people around him being funny, and Larry David being freaking brilliant. He can't act, and I've seen dozens of stand-ups who are funnier. Self-centered comedy works for Larry because it's also self-deprecating. It was the saving grace of Seinfeld, the TV show as well. There is no saving grace to Seinfeld the comedian.

Brian didn't attack the "comidian" - he merely stated that there were funnier ones, and went on to elaborate, which, imho, is a perfectly valid expression of opinion. Nothing pathetic about it.

Larry David is freaking brilliant! It's a shame most people believe that Seinfeld is the genius behind the show instead of understanding that it's all in the writing.
I saw Seinfeld's stand up show two years ago and it was very disappointing. Typical recycled "I'm a parent" jokes...

Hehe. I just find it nearly impossible to believe that you are in any way being serious here. The Seinfeld show without Jerry would not have ever made it as a 9 series show constantly syndicated around the world in repeat after repeat.

And Larry David, the co-creator and writer does not share your opinion in any way shape or form.

I was thinking the same thing.

Last we heard of Jerry, he was over the Cook Book fiasco. His wife is guilty as charged and Jerry just made the entire event look even cheaper.

Never thought the guy was funny nor talented but seems okay otherwise. A very fortunate guy!

Carlin was a real comedian ... Seinfeld is one trick pony but some folks really like simple is all.

He is a jerk with a big mouth. Last time he was on, he got sued for bad mouthing an author who calims jerry's wife, lifted a good portion of her cook book and his wife claimed as his own.
