Jerry Seinfeld: I Hate Kids' Birthday Parties (VIDEO)

Jerry Seinfeld tried out some new standup on "The Late Show" Friday night before sitting next to David Letterman and delivering a few more humorous rants from a seated position.

After his standup routine that had a large focus on cookies, the father-of-three sat down and told Letterman about kids birthday parties.

"I go to all of them. I hate every single one of them... Do you find other people's kids never look quite right?"

He especially hates pinatas and bouncy castles, on which his daughter apparently broke an arm, and he told Dave exactly why.

You aren't that funny but your show was great. I didn't watch it much but when I did, it made me laugh, but not you. Jerry you weren't funny, but that is what made the other actors so great

I love, love, love Jerry Seinfeld, and to all of you out there that don't get his sense of humor---it's an intelligence thing. Because if you are one of those nimrods that never found his show funny, you simply have no sense of humor. He is one of only a handful of comedic geniuses of our generation, and probably the only one who can do 2 brilliant hours onstage without ever uttering a foul word.

Oh stop your whining. Seinfeld the show was great for every reason that it was really Larry David's sensibility, and Seinfeld just lent his name and likeness to David's themes. Just because somebody doesn't do "dirty", doesn't make it good. And did you watch the show? The characters were always talking about sex and masturbation and "adult" themes. The only comedian that is performing truly "clean" comedy on a high level right now is Brian Regan. Seinfeld has always had a disdain for humanity running through his "clean" humor. That attitude is more destructive than much "dirty" humor.

I agree! Jerry Seinfeld is hilarious!! I saw his live show on Dec. 5th and he was just so great. Sold out the entire 4000 seat theater in like one hour and was so funny! Loved it!

i thought the letterman show with adam sandler this week was astonishing...adam sandler doing neil young's "you are a hurricane." i wont exaggerate he sounded more like neil young than neil young- fabulous. also -jim carrey has been on late night circuit promoting his movie, "yes man" in a similar phenomenon to robin williams ; carrey live is 10 times better than his movie projects. but unlike robin's spontaneously brilliant improve - carrey produced or led full on skits. i think they were different for leno ,letterman, and jimmy kimmel. i mean front page news.

These response boards just give morons the chance to anonymously vent their anger and jealousy against someone like Seinfeld who, unlike themselves, is successful and rich. You have to REALLY go out of your way to find fault with the likes of Seinfeld who just makes people laugh.
