With the news that Mark Felt, Watergate's "Deep Throat," has died at age 95, we can only assume that someone finally got to him and shut him up. As the informant who helped bring the Watergate scandal to light, Felt tried to keep his identity concealed because he knew his life could be in danger. You can't being about the downfall of the leader of the free world and not expect to be come for eventually. For several decades, the true identity of Deep Throat remained a secret. Then in May of 2005 it was revealed that Felt was in fact the man who brought down Nixon. Only three and a half years later, Mark Felt is dead. Coincidence?
