Earlier this week, A.C. Thompson of The Nation revealed that after Hurricane Katrina, white vigilante groups patrolled New Orleans, blockaded streets, and shot at least eleven black men. It "was like pheasant season in South Dakota.

I hate cowards. I can't tell you how many "friends" I lost when I decided to support Barack in 2007. I knew them for years, too. Sad how racism is hidden and comes out at the most inopportune times. I'm Chickasaw but I can pass for white and you can learn a lot about hate if you don't succumb to it. It's fear and racists are cowards. Life is too short, so be BRAVE.

THEY WERE NOT SNIPPERS... these black people (US citizens) were wondering WHY the helicopters were passing them up... they assumed they cound not see they so they took out a gun and shoot AWAY from the helicopters TOO GET THERE ATTENTION... Where were they going... they were going to predominantly white populated areas to pick up blond haired,middle to rich class, white people. I lived in Baton Rouge and saw everything... my cousin who was a nurse that stayed in N.O. to help patients, SAW EVERYTHING, you did not see %$#@, but you feel your conservative media properly informed you...right?
