Is Huffpo so pro-I&rael that any comments regarding that nation state get "c"ensored?

My comment, apparently "c"ensored, is that if I$rael was going to attack Iran in a "Christmas Surprise" the first thing they'd do would be to cut communication lines to that part of the world.

Arpranet was supposed to be so robust. I guess all the redundancy has been taken out of the equation.

That's funny . . . . I have just gotten a break all of a sudden too -- especially about the need to cash money.

This was no accident. Smells like someone is running damage control. I wonder what effect this is having on there markets. They were headed downward last time I checked.

Item 3 in my post below should read:
3) 3) Internet 2 will be profit-structured to charge you by the amount of bandwidth you consume....

The story may be true, but the coverage is part of the insideous hype to discredit the internet as "outdated" and "over capacity". Google, NewsCorp, and a few others would like to replace our internet with "internet 2", which is really a giant intra-net of wealthy corporate sponsors. Features of Internet 2 that they'd rather not admit to:
1) You will have to *apply* to Internet 2 administrators to put a page up- if your content doesn't fit with their editorial views, you don't get on.
2) No net neutrality. Translation: wealthy corporations get a "fast lane" on the internet. Everybody else will creep along at a snail's pace.
3) Internet 2 will be profit-structured to charge you consume. Translation: posting a lot of videos, watching a lot of YouTube, and playing videogames over the net will become a lot more expensive.

Frightening how we've come to reply upon this connection to each other and the world ...

And it can be wiped out in a second.

No matter what advances we make, all that we are and all that we do hangs by a thread.

Hey, on the bright side, maybe this will make some companies think about outsourcing 100% of their critical systems to people in India with zero thought as to what would happen if they were cutoff for a week.!
