Good. I was worried they moved Austria to the middle east or south asia.

But I thought Austria was the capital of Africa?

I cannot help realize the cut cable in the picture is a USB cable. Not an ethernet. And the ethernet port of this MacBook-like laptop is not plugged in. :-)

You never heard of Ethernet-over-USB? It's quite popular in some areas.

Yeah, I know. Technically the photo is right. But... I more or less think someone just grab a USB, cut it and take a photo. I can find godzillion of USB cables but hardly find an ethernet in my work place. Just my experience though.

Wow. Here's a major thing we should all be working to protect against terrorist attacks. If all of the lines had been severed, we'd have some pretty major chaos.

From what I read on other sites is that phone and internet traffic from these countries is being routed thru the U.S., not that any of this will be intercepted by the NSA. This problem in the middle east has happened too many times to be accidental. This does look, however, like a way to control what we read and what we say. How soon will one of these accidents happen in the U.S.? Possibly around Jan. 20 of next year?

I'm still getting emails from my friend in Nigeria. He is a former prince, has lots of money, and is willing to share it if I can help get him out of the country....
