Sure, NOW the price falls; way to late to reelect President Bush.

Oil puts a stranglehold on the American population and our environment. Low prices are a ruse and distract from the purpose of moving away from such dependencies.

If only people could afford the cars in which to put the gas.

I'm glad you are personally doing just fine. Millions have lost their jobs. They are not doing just fine.

Doesn't this rip a gaping hole in the entire GOP message the past year? You know, the one that says high gas prices are caused by environmental regulation as well as a lack of domestic oil production.

Gas has held steady at about a buck fifty here for a few weeks now. Price keeps dropping on oil, but not the fuel. Honestly it should probably be near a buck if you correlate the current price of oil to what gas ran the last time it was at that level.

So, when is Congress going to demand hearings to investigate the collapse of the price of oil?

I live in Martin/St.Lucie County and gas is still $1.70 something a gallon. With oil being in the high #0.00 somthing a barrel, shouldn't gas be below $1.00 per gallon.

I'd like to see the oil company profits for the last quarter - they are theives and I wonder how much Bush/Cheney have earned.

I bought gas today in Palm Beach County and regular was $1.77 and plus was $1.93. The prices went up real fast when the cost per barrel was rising but they are awful slow in going back down. Pal Beach has some excessive taxes to fund all the graft and incompetence from what I hear.

Palm Beach is always higher than Martin/St. Lucie Co., and they only have to talk about the possibility of prices going higher and they do. But when they drop, it takes forever.
I guess they have to gouge us when they can.

In my last post I forgot to say Florida, thanks for picking up on what state fellow Floridian.

I wonder why prices in my area have gone up 13 cents in the last couple of days.
