The FBI has engaged in "triage," taking agents off terror and other crimes to respond to a cascade of financial frauds such as the alleged Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme, the head of the bureau's New York criminal division said.

I just hope MADOFF is "Appointed a Court Attorney" and can not use any of the money he now has (illegally) to hire a dozen lawyers and delay his prosecution forever like ENRON!

The Madoff case is so "networked" into Wall Street and world markets the investigations are likely to uncover other Scams by other Organizations, especially with the unwinding of the $400 Trillion in Leveraged FAKE Paper.

I sincerely doubt if the Feds have enough qualified agents to thoroughly investigate financial fraud at this level. The average person with enough training and experience to understand business and money probably works on Wall Street or in business were they can make far more than a federal agent.
