Anderson Cooper's Yearbook Page (PHOTOS)

DListed's Michael K has posted an early Christmas present: photos of Anderson Cooper's yearbook page. Anderson Hays Cooper, who graduated from the tony Dalton School in New York in 1984 before heading off to Yale, listed his senior quote as, "Mary had a little lamb, the doctor fainted." See photos below.

Cooper recently told the New York Post's Cindy Adams, about his time at Dalton: "I'm not Jewish, but my friends when I was going to Dalton were, so as a kid I always seem to remember the one big happy day I wanted mostly to celebrate was a bar mitzvah."

Anderson rocks. Yes, he comes from a privileged upbringing and if he wanted to, could simply coast through life not working. But the tragic loss of his brother and other family issues have taught him a few lessons (just read his book). Seems to me he knows there is more to life, and is out there making a difference, be it covering wars, natural disasters, or doing insightful segments for 60 Minutes. He's bright, witty and has broad appeal as a TV personality as he easily goes from anchoring and asking the questions we might ask of an interview subject on AC360, or cutting up with Kelly Ripa when filling in for Regis. Simply put, Anderson Cooper is the future of TV news if indeed that is what he wants to continue doing.

Seems like such a waste of opportunity to do more with his name and the platform he's been given. Take "Planet in Peril" for example. Just Stunt journalism. Cooper swimming with sharks! First in a cage, then without a cage! Come on. I just wish he would stop making it about 'him'

Im sure Anderson Cooper is mad, EVERYONE knows he is NY ROYALTY, he had 30 million or so in inheritance before he went on CNN.

Doesn't I mean I don't love me some AC360, he is a great talent and is good, BUT I can guarantee you with the resources he had, he could succeed by doing nothing at all.

If you want to kiss up to CNN, cover their famous moments like when Anderson went to Katrina, or Christiana went to Bosnia.

Anderson made a fake ID, and went overseas with a camera to document news. He was underage. Anderson had balls to do what he did. You should really read about him. His brother's suicide was pretty horrible too -- not that others haven't gone through hard times. Anderson just doesn't come across as running up his own ass. His mother was the "poor little rich girl". ;)
