Pat

In an interview with CNN's Suzanne Malveaux, conservative Pat Robertson said he was "remarkably pleased" with President-elect Barack Obama. Not so for President Bush, who he blames for the economic crisis. On President Bush:

ROBERTSON: Well, it's hard to assess blame, but I -- over the years -- I hate to be critical, I mean I am a Republican, and this is the president of the party that I'm a member of -- but I think we've had some serious goofs along the way. The Katrina matter was terrible. The rebuilding of Iraq has been terrible. The hailing (ph) of the economy right now has been terrible.

It hasn't been handled in what I would consider a professional manner.

MALVEAUX: How would you grade the president in light of all of the -- the laundry list that you just listed there?

ROBERTSON: Well you know, history may accord him a higher grade than his contemporaries and I think he's hoping for that, and we are.

But I believe I would look at about a C-minus right now if I were grading him.

On President-elect Obama:

MALVEAUX: Are you looking forward to an Obama administration? A change?

ROBERTSON: I am remarkably pleased with Obama. I had grave misgivings about him. But so help me, he's come in forcefully, intelligently. He's picked a middle of the road cabinet. And so far, if he continues down this course, he has the makings of a great president.

So, I'm very pleased so far.

I have always loved Pat Robertson, I use to watch the 700 club all the time when I was younger. They had the most amazing soap opera on the Christian Broadcasting Network and I watched as much as I could. Reverend Robertson has said some werid stuff but all in all he is a good man. If he is pleased with President-elect Obama, I'm happy.

(T)he feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." –Pat Robertson

An ounce of bipartisanship will go a long way, but some of the laundry list of problems we face will work themselves out without 0bama lifting a finger, especially anything that has to do with foreign relations. 0bama will get credit for anything remotely good that happens whether he deserves it or not. He is a two termer for sure....

It's funny how these fundamentalists have warmed up so fast to Obama now that he controls the purse strings. Where's the outrage about people having sex with turtles, feminists giving away nuclear codes to the Russians, children forced to watch porn in kindergarten?

This reminds me of investor psychology--everybody piles on the bandwagon even if it is headed in they don't know where it's going. Sheep stampeding. Lemmings marching over the cliff. If your friends get a tattoo, you do too.

The IQ of a herd is equivalent to the IQ of the smartest animal divided by the number in the herd.

The remarkable disloyalty and herd mentality of some Republicans...and most all Democrats!

In his academic pursuits, as in all of his pursuits, Bush was a failure (F student). The Cs he received were "gentlemen's Cs" given to legacy students. One good thing CAN come out of this administration ..... that is if we NEVER AGAIN elect a Yale, Harvard, etc., legacy student to the presidency. These Ivy schools are a joke.
