I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Faced with a faltering economy and a precarious national security position, President George W. Bush made the best of a bad situation and sought to unite the country in spite of Washington's toxic political culture.

That's how Bush views his tenure in office, according to a recent round of exit interviews he and Vice President Dick Cheney have done as part of an effort to wind up their administration on a positive note.

"Faced with a faltering economy and a precarious national security position, President George W. Bush made the best of a bad situation and sought to unite the country in spite of Washington's toxic political culture."

Unite the country? Say what? Does he think the entire world has had it's head in the sand during his reign of terror? He's a divider, not a uniter.

This miserable excuse for a man, who is (without question) the most toxic President in world history, is complaining about the "toxic" culture in DC? It is the very toxic swamp it is because of people exactly like him! He just happens to be the most aggressive and ambitious, ever...combined with being the most incompetent, to ever inhabit the Oval Office...and thus we have him as the focus of all the evil energies that have been spent from his deeply corrupted executive branch.

This vile swill he and his minions are pumping is clear evidence of how deeply sick and twisted they are, and indicative of a need to prosecute them all to the full extent of the LAW!!!

I'm glad they're trying this.

Bush and Cheney aren"t saying much that Americans haven"t heard before, in one form or another. But as the two men take full advantage of their last month in the bully pulpit, there are a few key themes emerging in their narrative about the last eight years.

I think on review, up to half of the 20% or so who still have a "favorable" impression of Cheney/Bush will notice, when they hear all these lies at once, that their stories are incompatible with reality.

Only one regret - the fact that GWB was ever born

So much for the party of personal responsibility, as they now try to duck responsibility for every disaster that occured while they were in office.

He didn't have the luxury of knowing Saddam Hussein had no WMDs? We all know this is a lie. Call it spin; call it wind down interviews. Bottom line is that, as has been recently pointed out, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. Bush/Cheney administration is what it is, and history will remember it as the pathetic treacherous disaster it is.

The major regret that I have is that he was ever President. That covers everything.

What I think is so ironic is that cheney really ran the show and bush will take the blame in history for it.
Bush was cheney's "cats paw".

The Bush administration has had more exit interviews than the last 5 administrations in total. Wonder why that is? LOL

Because now that he is done destroying the nation, he has to try and convince people that he's still a nice guy to save "The Legacy"

These are stupid articles to write and Bush and Cheney are stupid people to interview.

THEY DONT CARE THAT THEY ARE FAILURES...THEY DIDN'T FAIL THEIR RICH FRIENDS, so TECHNICALLY they didn't fail.
