Obama Ditches Press Pool To Take Daughters To Aquatic Park

Dec. 26, 2008 Waimanalo, Hawaii Pool Report No. 5

President-elect Barack Obama arrived at Sea Life Park, a marine amusement
park in Waimanalo, about 12:10 p.m. He is apparently inside the park with
daughters Malia and Sasha. He left their Kailua vacation home without the
protective press pool.

Your pool arrived at the park about 1:10 p.m. and are holding outside the
park to await instructions on whether we will have access to the Obamas.

Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt issued the following statement to your pool:
"With no further scheduled events for the day, a lid was called until
further notice. The President-elect decided to take the girls to a water
park and we assembled the pool as quickly as possible."

The park is nestled along the shoreline in the sparsely populated and
scenic Waimanalo area, with soaring volcanic mountains nearby.

For the first time on his Hawaii vacation, it appears Obama gave the press pool that follows him the slip. From the Obama press pool report:

President-elect Barack Obama left his vacation home with daughters Malia
and Sasha about 11:45 a.m. His motorcade left without the pool, the first
time he has done so on this Hawaiian vacation. Your pool, which had a lid,
was not informed in time and is now en route to the Kailua home to be swept
by Secret Service. Pool will attempt to meet up with the Obamas shortly.

The Obamas are apparently at Sea Life Park, a marine amusement park near
Waimanalo and Bellows Air Force Station.

Updates to come once the pool is taken to the park.

Good! I and the rest of the world don't need to be witness to every nano-second of the Obama family's private lives. P-E Obama deserves to have time away from public scrutiny where his family life is concerned, and more importantly Sasha & Malia deserve to spend time with their father without the voyeuristic vultures of the CorporateMedia constantly circling.

Obama needs a new plan.

He should rent that video teleport technology that CNN used during the election night. When he is on vacation like this, he should let the press know that he will hold a general press conference. Then when he sees all the reporters assembled, he video teleport's himself to about 100 yards away from where the reporters are. When the reporters all rush to relocate, he zaps the teleport and moves to another spot 100 yards away from where the reporters are. Again, they will rush to where he is and he just keeps doing this until the reporters tongues are hanging out.

Then when the reporters have had enough of this, they will take the plane home and Obama will enjoy his vacations in peace thereafter.

Or he should just go out and tell these reporters to go camp out at the residence's of the CEO's of those NY Banks that were bailed out and badger them on why they are not loaning money. Maybe that will shame them to go out and do their jobs.

Let's try and and not forget the man has a family, that includes two young children who need BOTH parents and private time. It will make him a better leader if he knows his kids are all right.

Come on folks. They are kidding. What a great job. Stuck outside a water park in Hawaii. I'd justify my literary existence to get paid to do that. They are praying that they don't have to really go to work.
Or maybe get invited in for an ice cream.
