CTA Offering Penny Rides On New Year's Eve, Expanded Service For Winter Classic

The CTA this year will be continuing its tradition of offering penny rides on New Year's Eve and will also expand service on all of its train and several bus lines.

Additional train and bus service will also be implemented for the NHL Winter Classic on New Year's Day at Wrigley Field.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and ending at 6 a.m. Thursday, rides on all CTA buses and trains will cost one cent.
