Kucinich Calls For UN Probe Of Israel

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) is calling for a United Nations investigation into Israel's attacks on Gaza, criticizing Israel for a disproportionate response to Hamas rocket attacks.

The criticism stands in stark contrast to the statements of other Democrats, who have offered near-unanimous support for Israel amid the latest violence in the Middle East.

I am outraged by the attack on Gaza. Israel will not gain peace by killing hundreds of people. Israel is disregarding international law for the umpteenth time. Dennis Kucinich is the only person in congress representing me right now. Terrorism is fueled by unfair conditions. Israel is making sure it will continue to suffer- by attacking Palestinians instead of making fair agreements with them. I don't believe that violence solves human problems. Dennis Kucinich is one of the rare people to come out against war and terror in this militaristic country.

Hamas is bound and determined to wipe Israel off the map. Having said that, I would ask Mr. Kucinich that if his neighbors wanted to get rid of him and his home, what would he do? Israel may be using extraordinary force, they have taken a barren wasteland and turned it into a technilogical and agricultural piece of real estate. How would we do things if our country was surrounded by enemies?

First of all I never took anything from my neighbors and, if I ever did, I would have made sure that they were properly compensated and lived in livable conditions. Yes, Is real transformed the land, but with whose money? Is real would not exist without the U.S. Don't forget it. This is how you repay us by being bad neighbors, belligerent, and a bully? How does this make us look? You don't care about how much we have given you. You feel entitled to everything. When does it end?

Let me just say this. If you would never consider to have one of them in your house, if they repulse you, if you don't trust them as human beings, if you don't want any one in your family to marry one, then you are r ace is t.

First and foremost, I am not racist. I have thoughts of people on a case by case basis. I do not judge anybody on who they are or where they are from. I have met very nice people of all groups and I have met some really rotten ones of all groups. People are judged on their inside beauty and not the wrapping. Karl Penaul, CNN correspondent was on the "Dignity"! He said this was a DELIBERATE ramming! The boat contained tons of medical supplies AND health professionals!!!!!!!!

It was a deliberate attempt to sink that boat and prevent medical supplies from reaching Gaza! They have done this before to U.N. vehicles!

What is need is an immediate investigation of the r@mming of the "Dignity", which was headed to Gaza with medical personnel and tons of medecine. This is outrageous.

From the explanation provided by CNN correspondent Ken Penhaul, this was done DELIBERATELY, and should be condemned by everyone.

Also, the press must be allowed access to Gaza!

the attack on Gaza was overkill and is linked to a larger strategy
to grab land and make a point before Obama takes office.
The possibilty of this attack was reported by observers months ago
