Laura Louie: Meet Woody Harrelson's Wife (PHOTO)

Woody Harrelson met Laura Louie back in 1987 on the set while filming Cheers.

Harrelson married Laura Louie on Sunday December 28.

The couple has three daughters, Makani Ravello, 2, Zoe Giordano, 12 and Denni Montana, 15. After the birth of Makani, Woody referred to the three as his "Goddess Trilogy."

They married at their Maui home in an afternoon ceremony. Guests included Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Sean Penn. Alanis Morissette sang at the ceremony.

According to Wikipedia, Laura Louie was Harrelson's assistant for two years and is co-founder of Yoganics, an organic food delivery service.

Harrelson and Louie have lived in a sustainable community of about 200 people on Maui. "It's a really beautiful place," says Harrelson has said. "Everybody cares about this Earth and they're all biodynamic farmers and just really cool people. It's really a loving community and I'm blessed to be a part of it."

Woody and Laura started Voice Yourself, a site to encourage citizens to protest pollution of the air, soil, and water. Both keep blogs on the site. Read Laura Louie's commentary.

I'm with those who're saying the more they learn about Mr. Harrelson the more they like him.

I think he's a really talented actor and I've liked the kind of projects he's done. Now, knowing how he walks the walk in living how and where he does, I'm even more impressed.

She looks very sweet and shy. I saw them once at the Little Nell in Aspen. I thought she was his assistant, because she fussed over him so much and they've never been in the tabloids together.

Well now we know who takes care of him and keeps him sane so he can go out on the edge in his acting!

Good for Harrelson for marrying a real person vs. somebody in the industry to whom he would probably get divorced from in a few years -- which seems to be the norm in Hollywood.

That's because people in the industry can't control when and where they work so they have trouble scheduling togetherness time.

It must be really hard for someone with a film career to find any kind of stable relationship. Anyone with a normal career is going to be stuck at their job for at least 48 weeks per year. The only kind of person free to follow a film star around the world is someone without a career at all. In other words -- a gold digger.

Congratulations to Woody for finding a stable normal person with enough free time to follow him around the world but who isn't a gold digger or a loser.
