I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Ethanol sales for 2008 for the first time are outpacing those of gasoline in Brazil, a top ethanol producer, the National Petroleum Agency reported Tuesday.

The figures only take into account sales of hydrated ethanol that can be used in its pure form in most cars in Brazil, and not anhydrous ethanol that is used just to blend with gasoline, the agency said.

We could do this easily nation wide by using Industrial Hemp..which renews every 4 months and can provide bio diesel from it's seeds and cellulose ethanol from it's stalks and easily refined or distilled in every state thus enhancing our national security and also giving us energy independence...

This would also create a new green economic boom for so many Americans jobs and it also eats CO2 in massive quantities...!

Lift the ban on Industrial Hemp..it's a "no brainer..!"

Kudzu vines grow big and quick. Maybe they would work and free up hemp for other uses.

The problem and only worry for me with Kudzu vines is that there are so invasive...as I understand it, and could be a big mistake to bring to our country...

Once Brazil starts pumping oil from their newly discovered fields, ethanol sales will again play second to gasoline. Brazil may be the only place in the world where gasoline should be preferred to biodiesel.
