Sarah Palin: Bristol And Levi Are "Working Their Butts Off To Parent"

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hasn't yet said anything publicly about her 4-day-old grandson, Tripp, but she does want people to know that Tripp's parents - her eldest daughter Bristol and her fiancé Levi Johnston - are hard at work and keeping up with school.

"You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time," Palin told PEOPLE in a phone message Wednesday. "They are certainly not high school dropouts."

What is also interesting is reading this same story on other sites, particularly AOL, the in-the-pocket for the Right because nary a word, specifically, "butts" was mentioned in their reporting on this story. They spun it just as Palin being a concerned and proud grandma and no mention of her daughter and Levi's asses How quaint. Guess Palin can't say that 'dang "filter of MSM" was in play in reporting this.

No, no, remember, Palin said it was an "unplanned pregnancy", so the two doofus' weren't aware their butts were even involved. One would think though if they stayed in school they would have had a couple of biology classes and been able to figure out how babies REALLY are made. Instead, when Palin called her daughter's condition as such, it was good spin and better denial for the family.

I'd never vote for Sarah Palin, but she does seem like a well meaning person. I'm getting a little offended and tired of everything she says being made into a "she's so dumb" statement/joke. she ran, she failed, it's over and if people weren't interested in her (like a car wreck) or inspired by her, like many people are (give her some credit she started in her kids PTA and worked her way to running for vice president) we would not continue to hear about her. So, she's not eloquent, but that's how most people talk. Big deal. To study for school and raise a newborn - you do need to work your ass off.

That rational is amazing. I would propose though that Palin equally offended you with encouraging those in her rally audiences to "kill him". And, I also surmise, that extending Palin credit for starting as a PTA mom (which one could look at that in the realm of "community organizing") and working her way through governmental agencies, AKA, a Senator too, would put to rest any further comment on Obama's lack of credentials to be president or he's not so dumb. But, like you said, she failed and Obama obviously didn't.

BTW, her kids are not currently studying and raising a newborn. They are barely home from the hospital.

In the real world people get apprenticeships and good jobs, without diplomas, degrees or GED's all the time, it depends on their character and work ethics if they succeed. Alot of times this means returning to school to recieve a degree in order to move higher on the ladder.
