A current and a former Chicago police officer are asking a judge to stop the Fraternal Order of Police from paying legal fees for former Cmdr. Jon Burge, saying the union refused to pay for their legal representation because of their race, according to a federal complaint.

Burge is a blight on Chicago and the police department. If the police union pays his legal fees then you tell the entire city that you agree with his conduct. If you do that - you lose all credibility with the public.......forever.
