"P.alestinians arrest al-Q.aeda 'poseurs'

P.alestinian security forces have arrested a group of P.alestinians for collaborating with I.srael and posing as operatives of O.sama bin L.aden's al-Q.aeda t.errorist network, a senior official said yesterday.
The arrests come two days after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon charged al-Q.aeda militants were operating in G.aza and in .Lebanon.
"The P.alestinian Authority arrested a group of collaborators who confessed they were working for I.srael, posing as al-Q.aeda operatives in the P.alestinian territories," said the official, on condition of anonymity.
He said the alleged collaborators sought to "discredit the P.alestinian people, justify every I.sraeli crime and provide reasons to carry out a new (m.ilitary) a.ggression in the G.aza Strip."
The official did not say how many suspects had been arrested, nor where or when they were nabbed."
Invasion of Gaza can not and will not lead to any degree of peace in this region.
Invasion inevitably only results in increased radicalizing of religious factions and the fueling of Al Qaeda and similar groups throughout the middle east---all of which destabilizes the entirety of both the arab middle east, Israel, and the entire Islamic world.
Radicalization also constitutes an extremely serious threat to US homeland security, as the radicalized factions will, with some degree of justification, construe US silence/approval as signs of overt complicity
Israel and Palestine can only achieve peace by means of hard diplomacy that arrives at a result that will be deemed completely fair and equitable to both Israel and the Palestinians in the eyes of the neighboring Islamic countries

There have been about 20 or so I.sraeli d.eaths caused by Q.assam rockets since 2001.
There are about 400 road f.atalities per year in I.srael.
Roughly 15% of those d.eaths (60 people per year) are caused by d.runk drivers.
IMO, if their concern is really for the safety of it citizens, I.srael's time and money would be better spent e.xecuting it's d.runk drivers.

Hamas walked away from the cease fire, then started lobbing shells into Israel. All this after they violently took over Gaza by killing fellow Palestinians.

You have to wonder if Hamas leaders are on drugs. Hamas is getting killed and you would think (by their words) they are winning. I think they may have read too many Hitler books. They have no military training. Their armed forces run and hide like women. How can you win with soldiers like that? They have no air power. These Hamas leaders are totally delusional and unprepared for any type of military operations.
Why would they be using bottle rockets against a major power and expect to win with absolutely no air power.
