I think little Piper dropped out of the 2nd grade to take care of baby Trig full-time
so busy mommy can spend all her time climbing that golden political ladder.

I was wondering, did the Palin kids start school yet?

if the Os would have sent his children to DC public schools
many children in DC would have benefited
from better educational standards

If they go to public school, tell me know you would handle security for the girls?

Would that guarantee the firing of 1000s of incompetent teachers and hiring of talented ones, and re-structuring of the curriculumn to bring the teaching standards close to European ones? I don't thinks so! Good look teaching GED classes!

they chose what was best for their kids, not what would be best for other people's kids. Barack is the public servant, not his children.

i hope the girls have a good time at their new school and make lots of great new friends; moving is hard on any kid let alone under these particular circumstances.

Thank you MSM. Can this be the last Malia and Sasha story we see for quite some time? Let these girls be girls.

It would be nice (well, good investigative journalism) if the Wash Post or other outlet would post a reporter outside the Blair House for a few days to see what crucial events would supersede a president-elect. (It will be so good to see the back of these Evil Boneheads.)

Do we really expect the MSM to show the rethugs in a bad light? There is no way they will cover the lap dances and drinking binges the taxpayers are going to foot the bills for over the next two weeks...then they won't get invited.

Be kinda nice to think that one of those little girls is gonna be Madame President in the not to distant future...

I wish the Obama family all the luck in their new life.

Probably a bit scary considering they just moved to a city with out guns that has the highest crime rate in America with Chicago another gun free city right behind DC. I heard that the death rate in Washington DC is higher than Iraq. Scary!

Attending a top private school while being protected by US Secret Service agents probably is not comparable to the risk faced by the average Washington DC resident.

I wonder if there will be a press pack outside this school everyday hoping to get a shot of Obama dropping off the girls at school.

Obama is the best dad. 180 degrees away from what I experienced growing up. Maybe in my next life I'll be as lucky as these two little ones. :)

Let's hope he will also inspire (by example) the mediocre parents out there..

Could you be a little more specific....will they catch the bus or be driven and what time should all the crazies expect them to arrive!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:33 AM on 01/04/2009

No bus to Sidwell Friends. I wonder if the Secret Service will have to wait in the carpool line.

I think this kind of news should be left out of the news cycle as much as possible, in the interest of the girls.

I don't blame Obama for sending his kids to the finest schools, as every parent wants the best for their kids. I just wish I had that option, but the democrats have never supported school vouchers so my kids will never get that chance. It is amazing how so many politicans take money from the teachers unions (public school teachers) yet send their kids to private schools. That is hypocrisy with a capital 'h'.

Maybe when you become POTUS you will have that option.
