Obama Girls Prepare For First Day Of School Monday

President-elect Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, and daughters, Malia and Sasha, left for Washington on Saturday, a day ahead of him, so the young girls can get a head start on preparing for their first day at a new school in the nation's capital on Monday, aides confirmed.

Yes, the things people say online say more about them and their own pitiful lives than it does about anyone they attack.

You are right...sh­e never appeared to be affectionate with anyone in her family. There was no familial body language ever expressed by Palin toward relatives standing near or walking by her.

In the Newsweek issue of November 17th dedicated to "behind the scenes" of all the campaigns, they had a section on the candidates with their family. The photo of Obama has him holding Sasha while sitting across a table from Malia playing cards all smiling and very loving. The photo of Sarah is her sitting at a table holding Trigg but not looking at him while either texting or reading something on her phone. When I saw that, I thought about how i had never seen a loving photo of Sarah with her family so interesting that you point that out.

By the way poor kids are present in every ethnic community (not just in the AA community) ..........­..... Obama has pledged to make life (including their educational needs) better for ALL of them

The school is quite diverse and it provides opportunities for kids of all income levels. The summer programs are terrific.

Except for the Secret Service which all occupants of the White House have been entitled to as are the Obamas now, the Obamas will be paying for the girls' education so, as my mother-in-law used to say, what's it to ya? They need to go to school where they can get the best protection too.
