Some things in the neighborhood haven't changed. Leftover holiday lights still flicker, and police still block the Obamas' block.

But residents say there is a sense that living here is returning to a pre-Obama-fervor feel, with fewer marked police cars.

Hyde Park residents need to count their blessings that their neighbor is Obama ....................... At least they didn't have Dubya, Palin or Cheney as neighbors.

How you you think those Dallas residents feel? .................... Not only will they have the secret service to contend with, but they will have to see Dubya every day and he might actually want to have a brief conversation with them ................... UGH.

They are keeping it for their use when away from Washington and wanting to return "home". I guess someone will be living in it, taking care of it.
