Talk about a power lunch. President Bush, President-elect Barack Obama and three living former presidents will meet in the Oval Office for a private gathering on Wednesday afternoon.

Former presidents Jimmy Carter, George Herbert Walker Bush and Bill Clinton will join Obama and Bush at the White House for lunch. Obama initially came up with the idea that all of the men get together after meeting with President Bush last month.

Looking at that picture I was like, how could these two possibly communicate?

One speaks English while the other simple gabble.

Bill and both Georges should tell Jimmy not to do to Barack what he did to them: go around the world undermining the current president's foreign policy.

All the former presidents walk in and say to W:

WTF!?

The four of them are going to talk business and send George Jr. out to pick up the pizza and soda.

Is Clinton allowed back in the Oval Office?

If I heard C-spans inside the White House' expose correctly- Laura Bush stated that the same couches used in the oral office where simply recovered and placed upstairs in the residence. The Bushes used them on a daily basis.

At least they recovered them. Can you imagine flashing a bluelight on those? Put on some sunglasses.

Pres Bush will be next to Carter so he will look good and remind people that with Carter around he will never be the worst.... Bill will have a tear in his eye as he goes through the rooms with fond memories.

NO. Carter will be talking with Obama, Bush Sr will be chatting will the Bill, you know the SON he wished was his. And Bush Jr...will be in the corner beating his head against the wall. CAUSE HE'S THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY and bringing this group together WILL ONLY MAGNIFY HIS LEGACY...WORST PRESIDENT IN OUR HISTORY...PERIOD.

I THINK HISTORY HAS WILL BE VERY KIND TO JIMMY CARTER,A TRUE CHRISTIAN AND NOT A PHONY ONE ,LIKE BOTH BUSHES. I DIDNT LIKE CARTER STANCE ON THE PANAMA CANAL,BUT AFTER READING THE FACTS, WE DID IN FACT HAVE A LEASE THAT EXPIRED.BOTH BUSH PRESIDENCIES WERE FAR WORSE THAN CARTERS.WORST PRESIDENTS EVER!

I would give a year of my life to be at that lunch. (and I don't have that many to spend)

It is just not right that Cheney was not invited. Eight years of doing the job, and you don't even get the going away lunch.

Carter will bring up the Blair House snub before Obama will. Junior will look shocked, then try to smirk. Bush Sr. will try to interject and defend his boy, Clinton will nervously chuckle and watch in silence. And Obama will cock his head to the side and start with "ah, ah, ah, see. . . . ."

I think Obama should be nominated for an Oscar....
Imagine for one horrifying minute; sitting there in a closed room (no way to escape, gracefully) and having to look Bush Jr in the eyes while he's talking...
Imagine trying to "act" like you are really listening and impressed with his words.
Imagine trying NOT to reveal through almost involuntary facial expressions (such as eye rolling, grimacing, or highly raised eyebrows) what you are really thinking;
"Holy cow! What an IDJIOT Bush is"

Oscar time I tell ya.

Ok. its a new year, new administration. It is time to move on and all of this Bush negativity stuff is WAY OVER! Let's look forward to a bright future. It is mentally healthy for all of us (you guys too)..
I just hope that Pres. elect Obama is NOT taking economic or recession advice from Carter. Remember him and his administration?????

The economic mess was inherited to Carter and while in office not a shot was fired from our military. I'll take Carter any day over the Bush crime family.

I DO REMEMBER CARTER. A OF PEACE,DIGNITY AND REAL FAMILY VALUES THAT REPUBLICANS LIE THAT THEY HAVE. CARTER WAS A NUCLEAR ENGINEER,HOW ABOUT SHRUB?CARTER INHERITED A RECESSION FROM AN INEFFECTIVE GERALD FORD AND VICIOUSLY GOT SMEARED BY THE GOP SLIME MACHINE PROPAGANDISTS.

I bet Carter actually calls W an idiot. Clinton bursts out laughing, and HW turns beet red. Obama will just sit there being cool.

to run in and rescue her boy and hubby if the 3 Dems "attack" her
dear idiots.

BABS FLIES INTO THE DINING ROOM WITH WATER PISTOLS AT THE READY.
